Above average vegan pizza - Edit
We’ve come a few times to enjoy the customizable pizzas, which include the option of vegan cheese. The result is quite tasty, with a well-textured thin crust. The outdoor seating is recommendable in good weather.

Amazing vegan pizza and broccolini starter - Edit
Wood fired pizza with thin (the best crust is thin!) crust and vegan mozzarella!
Read moreWe got the margherita pizza and subbed the cheese with vegan mozzarella. It was amazing. My companion is not vegan but they also enjoyed the vegan cheese.
Also got the broccolini starter. Also amazing. Came with delicious arugula too. My companion ate the burrata cheese that came with it. Ask if the sauce on the broccolini is vegan, because it could easily be skipped if not vegan. Could probably also sub vegan mozzarella for the burrata (maybe for extra charge).
The IPA was great too. Did not ask if it was vegan, tho.
Pros: Vegan thin crust wood fired pizza with vegan mozza, Outdoor tables are dog friendly , Broccolini (slightly charred, in a good way)
Cons: Only one server for all tables! (Cole was awesome), There was a host and a bartender too. , Probably sit at bar for faster service

Great vegan pizza - Edit
We were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the pizza was here. Great wood-fired crust and high quality cheese, seems like it was likely Miyoko's cheese. Not just a token vegan option which is always nice. Only downside is the fairly steep surcharge for the vegan cheese.

Great beer and pizza! - Edit
We loved the beer flights (we got 6 tasters (5oz) for $12) and we created a build your own pizza that was pretty good! Ours was the vegan mozzarella, which comes in chunks not shredded, with arugula, olives, and bell peppers. Honestly, the cheese added $4.50 to the pizza and with it not being on the entire pizza I'd pass on it next time. It would be great without it and make for a cheaper meal.

Decent pizza, not mind-blowing - Edit
Glad they have options for vegan cheese! The pizza is pretty good but not worth the long wait, as this place is always busy. The charred broccolini is where it’s at though! FYI the gluten free pizza crust is not vegan

Great pizza! - Edit
I’m so glad we decided to try out Taos Mesa Brewing. Excellent vegan pizza options, including vegan cheese, and we had an appetizer that they made vegan for us—the broccolini. The beer was also excellent. Top notch service.

Best experience in Taos - Edit
We loved this restaurant! The build your own pizza is the obvious choice, which they have vegan mozzarella for. We also had a golden beet salad and broccolini appetizers which were also fantastic. We plan on eating here again before we leave. The staff is super awesome and helpful with veganizing the menu

Great pizza and drinks. Focaccia bread appetizer is vegan (and delicious) if you ask for balsamic dipping instead of the honey butter

Omg the pizza! - Edit
We went here last night, I had the house salad with no cheese or dressing, they do have 1 vegan dressing though. We also had a mushroom pizza and it was really outstanding, the crust was perfect and the cheese was great. Definitely put this place on your list in Taos!

Exceptional pizza, vegan or otherwise. - Edit
Stopped here just because there didn’t seem to be too many dinner places in Taos open on a Wednesday, and I was blown away by how fantastic the pizza was. I can’t believe I almost didn’t go. Delicious homemade vegan mozzarella and a crust good enough for Italy. Great beer as well and a nice vibe - what more could you ask for?

Easy Choice for Vegans - Edit
After our original dinner choice didn’t pan out, we were lucky to snag a table on the patio here pretty quickly. My daughters and I enjoyed personal pizzas with vegan mozzarella and a gorgeous house salad (leave off the Parmesan) with lovely lemon vinaigrette. This is a great choice for vegans and omni eaters alike.

Crispy Crust & Vegan Cheese Options - Edit
Unfortunate that this part of the country does not have any vegan restaurants, but was happy to find many positive reviews for Taos Mesa Brewery. You would think vegan would be right up the Taos community’s alley, being they are an artist community, but no go. We were happy to find a place that offered a vegan option that was also very tasty! Their pizza, as many others have noted on this website, is indeed very appetizing! We built our own and were happy to wash it down with some very good microbrews too.

Great Option Near the Square - Edit
The veggie pizza with the vegan cheese was great, loved that they used pickled onions instead of plain. Loved the crust especially, chewy, flavorful, and speckled with little blackened bits.

Loved the veggie pizza with vegan cheese- one of the better ones I've had. The beer and cider were great too. Also, there is ample outdoor seating and they take the coronavirus seriously.

Really legit pizza, good beer - Edit
We got a vegan margherita and a couple of crowlers to go. The pizza was amazing, with rounds of what seemed to be house-made or other high quality cashew cheese. No daiya crumbles here! A nice surprise.

Yummy pizza (also great beers!). This is a pizza and beer place, so having vegan pizza as the only vegan thing seems legitimate.

Good pizza, not much else for vegans - Edit
Came here with a group of omnivore friends and was pleasantly surprised how good the pizza was. The crust and red sauce are vegan, and they offer a tasty vegan mozzarella (not sure what brand- it was in rounds rather than shreds). Lots of good veggies to choose from for toppings- I especially liked the green chile and pickled onions. You can order a 6” personal pizza at lunch but they only offer the larger 12” option at dinner. Apart from the pizza, it is slim pickings for vegans, some vegetarian appetizers though. Some salads can be vegan with some modification.
