Serves meat, vegan options available. A part of the menu is labeled as vegetarian, with vegan options including sushi, stir-fried vegetables, and fried tofu paired with sweet and sour sauce.
This place has a clearly labelled vegetarian section on their menu, which was in fact all vegan, which is rare in this area. The food was unfortunately rather bland and servings small. While our entrees were okay though not exceptional, the Panko fried Tofu consisted of exactly four small Tofu cubes with a bit of veggies and the sautéed noodles were just greasy and bland, not at all fried. In general, the food quality was below your average Asian take out. The place is understaffed which leads to the waiter being stressed out and inattentive (we don't blame him of course).
Great food, beautiful setting, but slow, unfriendly service - Edit
Turned up at lunchtime on a Thursday - wasn’t too busy, excellent seafront location and nice,y laid out. After 30 minutes, we were ready to leave as no-one had brought us menus or asked if we wanted drinks etc. At that point an unhappy waiter gave us the menus and then returned shortly afterwards with the drinks. The food didn’t take long to arrive and was absolutely delicious - more than made up for the wait!
Fried tofu in sweet and sour sauce is amazing ! - Edit
we tried this restaurant because a part of the menu is vegetarian and because there is not many options for vegans in Le Lavandou, and we love it ! Try the fried tofu ! One of the chief is vegan !
