Really enjoyed our meal at Tandoor. We go to one other Indian place that we like but it's only a lunch place in a supermarket so it was nice to be able to sit in a proper restaurant. The decor was full of authentic Indian wares and there was air conditioning too so very comfortable.
There are a clear number of vegan dishes. We had starters of pani puri and sev puri which were delicious. We were less keen on the deep fried tofu and vegetables. It was just bland and unhealthy. For mains we had the vegan thali and tofu korma with puluo rice.
The thali had rice, bread, papad, 2 samosas, channa, aloo Gobi and tadka daal. The channa was especially good. Found the tadka quite strong but was decent.
The tofu korma was delicious but it was a tiny portion for the price (GHS190 plus 18.75% taxes!)
The puluo rice portion on the other had was generous and we took some home.
