Amazing!

My fiancé and I come here as often as we can because there have to best Indian food in Lincoln! Whenever my fiancé’s dad comes to visit from Colorado, he buys large amounts of their food to take back home with him because it’s the best! My favorite things to order at the vegetable pakora (to die for) and the vegetable curry with their soup! I highly recommend this to anybody! Lots of vegan options and their menu clearly identify a what is vegan! I wish I could give them a 5 star rating.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Delicious food, Great staff

The worst Indian food I’ve ever tasted 😔

We ordered two appetizers (aloo chaat and vegetable samosas), two entrees (sabzi curry and rasedar khumbi matar), naan, and mango chutney, and the only things that weren’t disappointing were the chutney and the naan.

None of the dishes tasted like traditional Indian spices, and most of them were sadly unappetizing. The aloo chaat arrived cold and tasted so strongly of vinegar, it burned our noses, like eating salt and vinegar chips or smelling vinegar straight from the bottle.

Vegetable samosas are marked vegan, but they were served with a dairy yogurt sauce, which was not mentioned on the menu.

The curry and mushroom matar tasted, unfortunately, like nothing. Not onion, not garlic, not salt, and definitely not like the traditional Indian spices you’d expect from a restaurant with “Indian Cuisine” in their name. The mushrooms tasted as if they’d been cooked separately, then added just prior to serving, rather than allowing them to absorb the flavor of the dish—if there were any flavor to begin with. The entrees were made tolerable only by generous use of the salt shakers provided and by the mango chutney, which also tasted extremely strongly of vinegar, but I’ll let that one slide, because that’s actually supposed to have vinegar in it.

The most impressive part of this restaurant was the attentive staff, quick service, and the abundance of clearly marked vegan options. The price is very affordable, but I feel hardly worth mentioning since the food we received was barely edible.

Pros: Abundance of vegan options , Quick service , Friendly & knowledgeable staff

Cons: Food was not good 😔
