Pretty good! - Edit
Had the lamb and spinach borek and cabbage rolls. Borek good although could have done with more filling and seasoning. Cabbage rolls had a nice underlying heat to them.

Amazing! Warm & Chewy - Edit
Their vegan cheese based boreks are the best. The other ones can be a bit dry internally. I also love their gozleme. Friendly staff. Recently warmed up the boreks on the bbq for my brothers birthday in the park - was amazing!

Ok - Edit
Nice range of boreks and gozlemes, and other items that rotate in and out.
Read more- Zucchini carrot fritter: crispy, very tasty
- Spicy potato borek: delish, wish there was a touch more filling though
- Lamb spinach borek: nice texture, bit spicy, would like it to be more flavourful
- Eggplant chickpea borek: ok, chickpea has a bit of a bite to the texture
- Mushroom spinach gozleme: nice and cheesy, couldn't taste the mushroom

Pretty much 5 stars - Edit
Pretty much 5 stars, just two items out of 16 containing dairy cheese, all other items were vegan. We really enjoyed the borek, great value, fast service and staff were lovely. Would definitely go back to try more items.

I tried everything but my fav was cabbage and vine leaf rolls and baklava. Borek was nice but not enough filling and bread was thicker. Gozleme had hardly any filling.

Delicious! - Edit
Everything is clearly labelled as VG if vegan. There seemed to be a large variety of vegan items. I tried the vegan cheese and spinach borek and I really liked the flavour. Nice and fresh and cheap too. I also had the semolina cake and baklava. They were both nice with my favourite being the baklava. We sat outside and ate it there. It was a lovely thing to do on a Sunday.

Totally amazing! - Edit
All vegetarian and vegan now!!!
Read moreVegan Turkish food is not easy to find, and to find it this good is a blessing. This place is owned and operated by a lovely vegan mother and daughter, who are charming and make a such delicious food! I tried one of the Boreks and a Gozleme, and they were the best! They also make coffee. I wish I had the option of giving them five stars. A true gem!
*Update - I have been back a few times now and have sampled more delights. First and foremost, Tammy’s coffee is crazy good! It turns out she has won awards for her coffee making skills! I have tried various sweet and savoury pastries, and wow are they seriously awesome! Tammy makes this pastry called Simit. This is a pastry with just the slightest hint of sweetness and is one of the most delicious pastries ever. Perfect with a coffee or tea. My new favourite savoury pastry is the cheese and spinach, and the kale one is also very delicious. The vegan options are growing and seem to be very popular. My tip is to try and go early so as not to miss out on the variety.

Amazing! - Edit
The food is so good. My partner and I tried the mushroom gozleme, vegan spinach & cheese borek, cabbage rolls, pisi, baklava and vegan lamb borek. Absolutely loved it all but I do wish they had a different vegan lamb instead of just tvp. Like some good herby seitan or something. Like the amazing vegan lamb radicle foods or cornish arms used to have. Or the viana brand lamb or fable!

Good to see they are so busy and survived lockdowns! I wanted to visit when there was 5km limits but couldn't!

INSANELY GOOD!!! - Edit
This place is so damn good. Discovered it yesterday and went again today. Heaps of vegan options, current faves are the spinach and cheese borek and gozleme and the cabbage rolls (seriously good). The baklava is also really good. They've also got mushroom and cheese, spicy potato, vegan lamb and potato and more than I can't remember! All vegan items are clearly marked and well priced. Highly recommend and would give 5 stars if I could!

I love this food so much I've been going there every weekend lately! Every kind of the freshly made gozleme and borek that I've tried has been delicious, as well as other treats such as zucchini "fritters", apple pastries, and the coffee is great.

Should be 5 stars - Edit
Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the vegan options. The spicy vegan lamb and potato is amazing and at $5 it’s a good deal and will keep me coming back even though I don’t live close. Can’t wait to go back and try other options. I also found the vegan mushroom and cheese divine and so flavoursome as well! Thank you Tammy and co! I’ll be back for sure! 😊

Amazing Borek’s and Gozleme at Preston market. Even my nom Vegan mum loved them. Had the spinach and cheese Gozleme, Lamb and Potato Borek, Mushroom and cheese Borek, the Firebreather Borek and a few desserts also. Everything was delicious and very well priced. If they were closer to home it’d be a weekly visit for me. We also had a kofta like lentil and chickpea that was wrapped in a lettuce leaf. Had a small sample, instantly bought 3 :)

it’s a hit - Edit
Tammy‘s is going off! Opening during a global pandemic is tough but they‘ve become a fast favourite of Preston locals and market shoppers. Tammy and her daughter are so friendly and excited to share their vegan takes on traditional Turkish snacks. The vegan potato and lamb borek is the innovation we’ve all been waiting for! I haven’t tried their gözleme yet but they smell delicious cooking on the grill. Their semolina cake is great value for a massive slice and perfectly sweetened, not too sticky and sickly like some others. And they just started doing vegan lahmacun! It’s like every week they add something new to tempt me in while I’m shopping for veggies. But I’m not complaining!
