A buzzing place - Edit
Saw the review below and went Wed night this week, specifically for the lemon sponge (thankfully they still have it). Several vegan pasta options on the menu, but unfortunately none of the pizzas on the menu were vegan. Most pastas were tomato based and they were happy to adjust one for my tomato allergy. Plenty of staff on hand who were all helpful and on point. The place was buzzing for mid-week so a nice atmosphere, especially since we were seated at the window and I had the perfect view of the Abbey all lit up. Pricey but worth it for a special night out. And the lemon sponge was worth the trip!

Part of a small independent chain of Italian restaurants, Tamburino Gold serves truly authentic Italian food in a relaxed environment.
Read moreThere are multiple vegan options including focaccia marinara and 3 or 4 excellent pasta dishes. The have recently added a lemon sponge cake to their dessert menu alongside the mandatory selection of sorbets.
Most of all the service is always excellent, friendly and attentive.
