Good, but need more options and fillings - Edit
The vegan tamale was good, and the sauces were great, but I would have liked a filling instead of just masa. The vegetables in it are good, but I just wanted something like beans to add some variety. The sauces honestly are very good and make it worth it, though.

Vegetables in masa to capitalize on mainstream veganism - Edit
I appreciate the effort to have a vegan tamale, but I was very disappointed to drive all the way to garland for vegan tamales when they only had one lackluster tamale that was not very good. When an establishment provides a thoughtless vegan item, they would be better off having nothing.
Read moreThe Masa itself had a good taste with the vegetables mixed in, but no one wants to just eat Masa with no filling. By the time I was done my mouth was extremely dry. And still hungry despite being gigantic in size. I was left disappointed.
My husband said his chicken tamales were decent.
Pros: 1 vegan tamale option, Big size, Good location for parking
Cons: Expensive for what it is, No filling in the tamale, Taste is mediocre at best.

Vegan tamales all day! - Edit
The fresh vegan tamales are delicious and FILLING. The veggie ones are huge -- the size equivalent of 3 regular tamales. The veggies are mixed into the masa so it's not a filling on the inside. Clearly labeled and staff can help you find what you need.
