Tale teller

A nicely kept Indian restaurant with a dedicated veggie and vegan menu.
Food wise, not bad, price range is mid. Tends to be more lightly flavoured and less spicy.
Not much else to say, you like Indian food you shall enjoy it. Clearly effort goes into the cooking.

Pros: Dedicated and clear veg options

Dedicated vegan section in menu

Had dinner here last night as we were going to the cinema nearby and seen they had a vegan section in their menu. My husband and I are both vegan.

There were 4 different choices of starter and 5 for mains. The food was well cooked and the portions were very large (if you’re into that). We had the bhajis and channa puri to start. For main I had the veg bhuna, lots of potato, tomatoes and veggies. My husband had the patia which was delicious with a sour sauce, much nicer than the bhuna.

The level of spice did not reflect what was indicated on the menu which was a shame as we both like hot food but it was very tasty. They also had the option to order vegan breads as well. They also have Cobra on draft which is vegan. The drinks menu didn’t indicate which drinks were vegan.

I would happily come back here if I was visiting the cinema again. It seems to be the only restaurant in the Omnipark which has vegan options.

Pros: Decent vegan selection , Vegan beer on draft

Cons: Could be spicier
