Yummy - Edit
There is a vegetarian section on the menu. Although not marked vegan, there are lots of dishes available if you ask staff. They're very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was amazing.

Heerlijke vegan gerechten - Edit
In Porto Rico is dit voor ons het beste restaurant. Meerdere veganistische gerechten met liefde bereid. Obers weten waar ze het over hebben en welke producten er in de gerechten worden verwerkt. Super gezellig en leuk terras.

Not the best - Edit
This restaurant has the great disadvantage of being located in the old shopping center in Puerto Rico, which lack all style and taste. That aside, if you are there, and want Indian food Taj Palace is not a bad choice. Moreover you don't really have to enter the shopping center because the restaurant has an entrance from one of the sides.
Read moreThey have many vegetarian and vegan options, the vegan ones are not marked so you will have to ask the staff. Normally they are quite up to date on what vegan means. The food is not bad, but not the best on this side of the island either. They can make many vegan plates, you got the vegan bread (roti) and the food is tasty. They doesn't have any vegan options for dessert.
Pros: Can make many plates vegan , Tasty
Cons: Location (shopping center), Vegan plates not marked on menu , No vegan desserts available

Ok - Edit
I asked the server what was vegan a few times before he understood what I was saying... he then pointed out 3 dishes I could get. I chose the vegetable curry, but it had paneer in it. I just ate around it, I think server didn’t realize there was paneer in it. It seemed like he did understand what vegan was because he did tell us which breads contained milk. The food was ok. Prices were reasonable and drinks were cheap. They gave us a free shot too.

Very good Indian food - Edit
Has vegetarian items on menu, but does not specify which contain dairy, so ask the waiter which items are vegan.

Nice indian with several vegan options - Edit
In the middle of a shopping center in tourist hell Puerto Rico on Gran Canaria there is this Indian place that serves great food. Quite cheep (7-9 euros) per meal and a whole page in the menu for vegetarian dishes (some vegan but all can be made vegan). They were fully aware of what the order "no animal products" meant which fler safe for us.
Read moreAre there several times during the week we where there and was pleased every time. They can also make gluten free soft bread.
Pros: Several vegan options, Good prices, Gluten free bread
Cons: Also serves meat
