Yum! Wish I lived close by! - Edit
I had takeout Pakoras and Tandoor Vegetables. Both were excellent. Level 4 spice was just right for me. Perfectly cooked large variety of vegetables. Rice was fragrant-good enough to eat alone but why would you.? Sad no bread was vegan but otherwise HIGHLY recommend.

Cons: No cons. I would go back in a heartbeat. Yum!

Fantastic flavors! - Edit
First time eating here in 20 years, (I think the owners have changed hands since then.) Nevertheless lots of food options for vegan. Just be sure to ask them if there is any dairy or animal products (like Naan bread has egg in it). I ordered the BAIGAN BHURTA entrée. Delishous! Note- I asked the waiter if the vegetables were cooked on the same surface as their animal meat. He said no. Seems that some restaurants even though they claim her dishes vegan will still sautéed vegetables on the same grill top that they will also grilled meat on. Be sure to ask that wherever you go!

Pros: Vegan options. , 0-10 hotness scale when ordering, No wait for table.
Cons: No vegan naan bread

great food and service - Edit
I have been going to Taj Mahal for years and I love how many vegan options are on the menu! I The service is always great too and the have lunch buffet during the weekdays and Sunday night.
Read moreUnfortunately I did hear from fellow vegan that their rice may have had ghee in it and/or milk at some point so he stopped going there. I asked the owner and wait staff and they claimed that they don't anymore but I got mixed reactions and answers to that so please make sure to ask or notify them if you are vegan.
Pros: delicious food, friendly service, lots of options
Cons: atmosphere - cafeteria style, rice may not be vegan

Delicious And Hassle Free - Edit
What I love most about Taj is that the menu clearly identifies what is appropriate for vegans. I don't have to ask a bunch of questions of wait staff. Also, the food is delicious! Love this place.
