Yummy vegan food!

As much as we love Thai food, sometimes it's nice to have a break and enjoy another asian dish. Taj Mahal served us lovely vegan food and they understood what it means to eat vegan. We tried the mixed vegetable curry, aloo gobi, Dahl soup, naan bread, roti, samosas and pakora. It was all great, especially the garlic naan bread. I do wish they would have used fresh veggies for the mixed vegetable curry because using frozen ones messes with the structure and taste of the veggies (which was noticeable). The owner was ever so friendly and we showed him Happycow which he wasn't familiar with yet but he was interested as he is vegetarian himself. He also assured us that they cook all veg dishes separately in the kitchen to avoid cross-contamination, awesome! Would definitely come back here :-)

Pros: Yummy food, Great garlic naan bread, Friendly and knowledgeable staff

Cons: Serves animal products, Garden vegetables came from frozen bag
