Truly Scrumptious Bakery - Edit
The couple who runs this place are a Hong Kong / American pair and they do all the baking together, inspired by her knowledge of Hong Kong baked goods such as eggless coconut-based tarts, and matcha buns. They also make traditional bakery items with seasonal ingredients such as a fall pumpkin croissant and pumpkin crumble muffins. It’s so inspiring to see a passion project like this succeed, and I plan to come buy pasties here as many Saturdays as I can!

Reminds me of my childhood - Edit
Since becoming vegan, I never thought I’d get to taste some of the treats I grew up with ever again. Thank you Tai Zhan for making this a reality! I especially love the pineapple bun and kouign amanns.

Cute Delicious - Edit
Cute little plant-based micro-bakery in Saratoga! I had gotten stuff from their pop-ups before, but picking up my Mid-Autumn Festival pre-order box was my first visit to the physical storefront.
Read moreMy non-veg husband adores the monkey bread and pineapple bun here, and I don't think either of us has had anything from here that we don't like! The dough for the savory pastries is often slightly sweet, like a sweet dinner roll, which was interesting and somehow actually works (I usually don't like sweet dough with my savory stuff). I loved the moon cake, and also really love the mushroom BBQ bun and the strawberry rhubarb croissant. There are so many things here that I want to try, but it's a bit of a drive from where I live and they're currently only open on Saturdays, so it might take me a while to sample them all!
Bakery itself is small and cute in a simple, modern style. There's not really seating, but you can easily pick up pastries and eat them while strolling the shops nearby (and maybe even pick up a coffee). The staff seem friendly and happy to be there, and there definitely seems to be some regular customers from the interactions we've seen. I can't wait to go again!
Pros: Delicious Vegan Pastries, Accepts Credit Card
Cons: Only Open Saturdays, Sells Out Quickly

Love an all vegan bakery - Edit
I love an all vegan bakery and esp one that serves croissants. Mine maybe an unpopular opinion to the others that I read. Although the textures were great, the flavors of the savory buns did not hit the spot for me. It could be because of my personal choice of not having a sweet bun with a savory topping/ filling. The flavor of the red bean bun and eggless tart were ok for me. I loved the croissant and would stick to it, if I go here again. Also, just a tip, take the goodies to go and then heat up at home before eating. At $6 each per item, the price did add up but I don't mind spending at a good bakery.

Sells out quick - Edit
Come early, because the treats here sell out super quickly! Im excited to try the coconut cream bun, taro bun, and black sesame bun in the future. I only got to buy the green onion bun, BBQ bun, and raisin coconut bun. All were good though!

Indulgent Treats - Edit
Enjoyed treating my family to an indulgent box of treats from a Tai Zhan pop up. Placed an order of goodies ahead to pick up. My favorite was the eggless tart which was nostalgic from my childhood

LEGIT - Edit
Worked with Tai Zhan bakery to provide the desserts for my daughter's 1st birthday party. And oh my goodness we were so impressed with the taste of the bakery items and the presentation!! Wendy was professional from beginning to end. Such a vegan gem in the bay area. Will definitely choose Tai Zhan to cater my future events.
