Nice food! Great humus and baba ganoush and I loved the fried coliflower. Judging by the amount of people both visiting and to pick up take away, this is what a lot of French people want.

Surprised to find a fully vegan place in France and it was lovely too! We had the plate with different entrees, the beyond burger and the fish burger. All was really tasty. Favorite was the sauce for the fries that came with the beyond burger. But again, everything was good.

I believe this is the only fully vegan place in Tours, came by for dinner, service was really quick and helpful. I had the maxi evasion plate, it consists of 4 types of deep fried stuff (nuggets, falafels, lentil balls, cauliflower beignets), couscous, salad, and big dashes of hummus and aubergine caviar. It was tasty enough but I feel like they could use more spices, especially the hummus and the cauliflower. Still I was pretty happy to have found a fully vegan place, enjoyed my meal. Oh and their cider is REALLY good!

Me and my husband had lunch there in the beginning of September. The restaurant is small, but nicely decorated and you can sit outside too if the weather permits it. A young waitress and another lady who I suppose could be the owner of the place were both absolutely adorable. The food was also very good and fresh. The only little bit that I want to say about the food is that it is a bit too healthy for my taste. I'm vegan, but I like nice cakes and desserts. This restaurant puts very little sugar and salt in the dishes. That's probably best for many people, but not for me who is very skinny :-).

Tahina is a small restaurant tucked away behind the market hall. It has tables inside and a few outside. It is entirely vegan and the staff are very friendly, We went on a Tuesday night in late August and it was reasonably busy, although I suspect it does more trade at lunchtimes.
Read moreWe felt we ate well and with good value. We both started with the soup, which was gazpacho and was absolutely delicious. For the main courses, we both had the "Beyond steak" with fries and salad, which was perfectly tasty and acceptable but the "steak" was actually a standard burger without the bun, and the salad was essentially finely chopped lettuce, which looked white rather than green. There was nothing wrong with it but one normally expects "salade" to include more variety. Indeed, it was not possible to order a side-salad,
There were a selection of vegan desserts. I had a chocolate mousse, which was very good and my partner had something called tiramisu, which she enjoyed greatly, although it seemed to lack some of the key flavours of tiramisu. notably the coffee and the marsala wine, which including a red fruit coulis, a feature I have never encountered before. Neither dessert was over sweet, which is a real bonus.
I had a glass of house red wine, which was just about OK - others seemed to having smoothies and alcohol-free wine.
The service was very friendly and I would return if I came to Tours again. The place has potential and I hope that it can grow - happily, there does seem to be a demand.

We visited Tahina for lunch one day when visiting Tours. It's a nice little place, offering tasty Middle Eastern food. It's also 100% vegan, which is great!
Read moreWe shared the 'évasion du saveurs' (a mixed mezze-style plate consisting of falafel, wheat nuggets, hummus, baba ganoush, tabbouleh and other salads served with bread) and the 'duo de fallafels en wrap' (as you'd probably guess, a couple of falafels in a wrap, served with fries & salad). Everything was pretty good and we really enjoyed it, though I wasn't entirely sure about the wheat nuggets (a slightly wierd addition) or the tabbouleh (not very authentic as it seemed to be made of cous cous rather than bulgar wheat).
Definitely worth a visit!

Read moreWe had different predishes and the Burger beyond, which came with a very nice garlic „butter“. The predish (different Falafel) were a bit small, but everything was tasty and you recognize, that the cook is very good.
What we missed:
-more dishes with vegetables in pieces (rather than served as a mush)
-an english menu

We would love to support this only fully vegan place, but it was below average unfortunately. The menu wasn’t up to date (no plat du jour and the beer was not available), the burger was mediocre, the French fries seem to come from the oven and were dry and dark. The price is inappropriate. The „steak“ was just a burger patty…

The staff here were very nice and made us feel welcome immediately! The service was quick and the food came out quick. There’s outdoor dining as well. The prices are a little bit high but considering it’s an all vegan restaurant, it makes sense. We got the Beyond Burger and the Vegetable burger, both were very good! I’d love to come back here and try some of their other dishes
