Our GO TO - Edit
We were visting Eugene for a month and Tacovore was the first restaurant we dined at and we kept going back. They have 3 vegan tacos on the menu... Tofu, Mushroom and Tempeh Chorizo. All of them have their own unique and tasty flavors. Then you add one of their fabulous hot sauces and they are singing! We also ordered a special taco with asparagus and it was great too. Their Kale salad is made up of baby kale, topped with tortilla strips and avocado. What makes this salad is the dressing. Amazing. We would pick up just the salad sometimes. When dining at home, we would add kimchi to the salad and whoa!

Fabulous Tacos - Edit
They have 3 regular vegan tacos on menu and daily specials that include vegan options. The regulars are 1) Crispy tofu, 2) Tempe chorizo, and 3) Fried Mushrooms. The crispy tofu tacos are excellent. They have a large piece of crispy fried tofu with cabbage and pickled veggies, and a green salsa. We ordered a side of guacamole, and there was plenty for the 5 tacos we had. They had a summer squash taco as the daily special today. We tried that and the mushroom tacos also. They were good, but not as good as the tofu tacos. We also had a peach/apricot/lemon agua fresca, and a special margarita. Both were extremely good. Tart, cool and refreshing. We will be eating there again. I would give 5 stars if I could.

Good tacos and salsas! - Edit
I tried the tofu taco and mushroom taco and both were good options! They also had an herbivore special (sweet potato taco) and another vegan option on the menu (tempeh), so it was nice to see some options!
I tried several of their salsas and really enjoyed them (especially the Verde and the pineapple jalapeno).
The guacamole was also good.
As an (unfortunately) cilantro averse person (it tastes like soap to me) I was VERY grateful that I could request no cilantro on my order and the guacamole did not have an overpowering amount of cilantro in it.
Pros: Good salsas and a good variety, At least 3 vegan menu options

Vegan Tacos - Edit
Had a spontaneous evening out to try Tacovore. Saw 3 vegan options on the menu, not including chips/salsa. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Good place to people-watch. Will go back.

plenty of vegan options - Edit
Tacovore is a fun night out! Had plenty of vegan options as me and my friend are both vegan. We caught the end of Happy Hour which had .50 cents off tacos. They specialize in one thing here...tacos!
Read moreWe started off with the Housemade chips and guacamole. It came with plenty of chips. The guacamole was tasty and fresh. We each split the following three tacos:
Seasonal veggie taco w/o dairy
Crispy tofu taco
and the homemade tempeh chorizo
My favorite was the tempeh chorizo which was spicy and tasty. I have a hearty appetite and felt satisfied with what we ordered. We even had some chips to take home.
The place was pretty packed and busy with a nice lively atmosphere. It was a little on the loud side, but that was part of the fun. We lucked out by getting a spacious booth.
Probably the best part of Tacovore are the housemade hot sauces. I tend to like things a bit spicy and found the hottest hot sauce made with habanero to be plenty spicy in a good way. Normally I have the hottest hottest salsa or hot sauce at a Mexican restaurant and find it fairly mild, but not here. The green hot poblano hot sauce listed as hot had a decent kick, but also plenty of flavor which was probably my favorite overall!
Pros: housemade hot sauces

Yum - Edit
I really enjoy their crispy tofu taco, I like to add guac to it. They also have a tempeh taco but the flavors are a little boring on that one for me.
