Growing up on the coast, I would come here weekly to get a good, cheap burrito. I’m very happy to say that I can eat here as a vegan!! They have definitely become more vegan friendly over the years!
Read moreWhen we went here this last time the lady taking our order was very knowledgeable about what vegan meant. She informed us that the fries and the rice was not vegan. When we got our burritos, they were labeled vegan which I really appreciated!
Not sure why the fries are not vegan since my fiance ordered. The garlic potatoes are though! So if you want to add potatoes to your burrito, ask for the vegan ones!
We got veggie, garlic potato, bean burritos (make sure to say vegan and no cheese and no rice) and an order of bean taquitos! The bean taquitos come with a side of guac and the burritos always come with a side of house made salsa which is always the perfect addition to any tacos de dish!
Also their ice is literally the best ice here. Get a Jamaica drink and brim that cup with ice and you got just about the best Jamaica drink you have ever had on the central coast.
Definitely look forward to coming back here! And hoping they add some vegan items to their menu in the future!
