Great spot 5 stars

I would leave them 5 stars, but happy cow won’t let you unless they’re fully vegan I think. Seems like a strange rule. Anyway on to the review. Tacos California Taqueria is a little hidden gem. Tucked away in an unassuming little building in the parking lot of a marathon gas station. You might miss it if you weren’t looking closely. Seating seems to only be outside, but it seems like they do a fair amount of outdoor seating and take out orders as well. Bad weather would make this a take out situation only. I did takeout. I always find that the best places are little holes in the wall like this place. I live in Atlanta and enjoyed my food here more than most taquerias I’ve been to in the city or in other cities for that matter. I got the tofu nachos. Added mushrooms, fajita veggies vegan cheese and guacamole. I was blown away by the tofu. It was marinated and cooked beautifully. I was tempted to go back in and ask what they did to it. Veggies were awesome too. It was a hefty ass meal. Also got agua de Jamaica which was also bomb. Everything was delicious and they have great prices too. They can modify many things on the menu to make it vegan or vegetarian. Staff were really laid back and cool. Very accommodating for any questions I had about options. Definitely check this place out! You won’t be disappointed!
