Amazing vegan options - Edit
The tofu tacos are amazing and the tofu was seasoned and baked really well. Also built a custom bowl and would recommend trying the pineapple salsa - it is VERY good! Would definitely come back again if ever driving through Orono.

I had no trouble finding vegan options here and there is plenty to choose from. Not having vegan cheese is not an issue at all in my opinion (unless you really wanted a quesadilla) but sorry you didn't have a great experience because I absolutely loved it here.

The food is good. Well seasoned and big enough for the price. But, AVOID THE GUAC. Not worth it. It is like homeopathic guac lol, just the faintest of traces can be seen. You’re better off with any other ingredient. Good option in downtown orono.

This place was amazing! Best taco place ever! Highly recommended the wood something (forgot the name lol) taco. Great tofu taco and substitutions are available.

I LOVE Tacorita. It’s my fiancé and I’s go-to spot in Orono and honestly the greater Bangor area. There are a ton of vegan options and everything is delicious. The Tacorita salsa is literally the best salsa ever. Their vegan protein is tofu, and there’s a ton of options to customize your food, especially a burrito or bowl. Can’t recommend enough!
