Good but limited

Their vegan taco is quite good but I thought it could benefit from less beans and more avocado/pico de gallo. Also, would be nice to have more options.

Lastly, I got the potatoes expecting diced potatoes but unfortunately they are mashed and include dairy.

Vegan Mother’s Day brunch

Went to Taco Deli for Mother’s Day Brunch, it was very popular spot.

The Freakin Vegan is my favorite to get there, they have a lot of options for add ins which I appreciate. I added sautéed spinach, caramelized onions, and mashed potatoes. It’s makes the already decent sized port a hefty taco, they gave some great house sauces/salsas to choose from which put it over the top.

Disclaimer* that specific additions can make it a bit messy. I suggest getting one or two extra flour tortillas on the side since they do not offer double flour as an option.

Pros: The freakin Vegan , The large number of additions available

Cons: They use a lot of additional single plastics , Not offering double flour for tacos

I will forever dream of the "Freakin' Vegan" taco

If I could, I would choose the "Freakin' Vegan" taco for my last meal before I die. On a whole wheat tortilla and slathered with a ton of the (hella spicy yes pls) Doña sauce AND the smoky and delish Salsa Roja, thankyouverymuch.

IDK, I guess they have some other veggie tacos at Tacodeli. But I simply stopped caring about anything else once I tasted the Freakin' Vegan. It's basically just black beans, avocado and pico de gallo, but there's something otherworldly and magical about how Tacodeli does it -- and the sauces are of course the crowning glory. They make solid tortilla chips too, if you're into that kind of thing.

This location was nearest when I lived in Austin and they always made good tacos and did right by us when some jerk stole our order off the counter, or whatever. Good folks, working hard to crank out great tacos.

p.s. if anyone has the recipes for their black beans or hot sauces, hit me up, I live in another country now and I HAVE TACO NEEDS.

Salsa is delicious!

This morning they were so busy! It took awhile to get the food (about 30 minutes) but totally worth it. I ordered the 2 of the freakin Vegans and added tomatoes, cilantro, and onions at no extra charge to go. The burritos were fantastic - TexMex at its finest. (Fyi- mashed potatoes we were told were vegan .. I didn't order them but in case you're curious)

Pros: Margaritas to go, Salsa options

The dulcet tortilla transformed into a plant-based didacticism.

Somewhat of a stretch stroll from the Domain proper, the reward is a mouth-awakening banishment of all thoughts outside of the present moment.

Vegan options very yummy

They have one vegan taco and a few vegetarian, just hold the cheese. The space cowboy taco is what taco dreams are made of!

Pros: Vegan taco , Veggie tacos, Sauces are vegan

Cons: lots of dairy you have to ask to be left out

Easier than Torchy's

Use to go here a lot when I lived closer. Now it's a bit too far and I have to go through a taco build process with Torchy's employees who get confused everytime.

Pros: Some vegan options., Guac is fantastic.

Cons: Little pricey for tacos., Can get packed.

just ok

The guacamole is too lemony and only a 1 vegan options with 3 others that can be made vegan. Just ok but really expensive for what you get.
