Very nice experience - Edit
It was really nice to have a different menu which points out options that aren’t vegan/gluten free instead of the other way round. The portions were good sizes, and tasted very good. The service was extremely fast, not waiting any more than 10 minutes for each dish to come out, despite visiting on a Friday night.

Tasteful taco's - Edit
Tasteful, quite authentic taco's for an awesome price ( 3 for € 11,70 ). Nice for a lunch!

Ontgoocheld - Edit

Spot on vegan taco al pastor - Edit
Must visit restaurant if in the area. Order the taco al pastor and the frijoles and you won’t be disappointed! Also that guac is to die for. Best Mexican food at this side of the water 🌮

The most delicious Mexican food we have had in Europe - Edit
The tacos were sublime: 3 vegan options on the regular menu, + one of the specials. The nachos to share (vegetarian) were also delicious, and the cocktails had a generous pour.
Read moreI would have given it five stars, but it isn't a 100% vegan establishment.

Pleasant, but not very tasty - Edit
Something about the tortillas did not taste good either time I visited. The menu is nice and varied with clearly marked vegetarian options. While the tortillas are not good, the tacos itself were quite decent

Lovely spot - Edit
Lovely experience with friendly staff. Menu specified what’s NOT vegan in an awesome twist. Tried the three main vegan tacos (not the daily special), all were nice but especially the frijoles one. My friend also loved her (veggie) quesadillas.

Nice atmosphere - Edit
What a nice and authentic atmosphere! We came here on a Sunday and were told it's usually only brunch, which is not vegan. Luckily he offered to make tacos and gave us 2 options: beans or oyster mushrooms. We tried both and found them simple but enjoyable. Next time we would probably ask for some guacamole with it, though. We also had agua de limon, which was great and not overly sweet. Very friendly service!

Average tacos, standard vegan options - Edit
Taco Santo is located close to the main shopping street. As tram pass by the terrace is not that cosy but it's okay if you want to sit outside.
Read moreThe menu has an original twist on the usual vegan symbols in the menu. Here the non-vegan items are indicated. Which feels nice with vegan as the standard.
Even thoug, it was clearly indicated I was disappointed to see that you could fill a small plate (3 tacos) with different vegan options because there were only two. So we decided to order those and move on for main dinner somewhere else. There was a misunderstanding with ordering, and I got 3 tacos after all.
The flavours were okay but not mindblowing. It might have been hard to enjoy the taste while focussing on how to eat it without making a mess. They had funny instructions on the back of the menu, we'll read those more thouroughly next time.
Pros: a cool twist to the labeling
Cons: terrace at the street side where the tram passes
