Great vegan food

Friendly and nicely decorated place, the food is really good and not pricy. We especially enjoyed the pava, "meorav" tofu and panzanella salad. Also very child friendly.

Unexpected Countryside Vegan Oasis

After a long day of playing in the snow with my kids atop Mt. Hermon, we were quite surprised (and excited!) to discover this new vegan restaurant listed on HappyCow, in a region not known for culinary diversity. The friendly staff welcomed us into their cozy and creatively designed space, explained the menu in great detail, and helped us order a selection of dishes to taste and share. The sweet potato and leek soup was rich and smooth, the Persian Savzi was uniquely flavored and absolutely fantastic, the lentil-pea dip was so much better than the average humus dish, and the tofu "fishless fish balls" were very yummy! To top it off we ordered both of the desserts of the day - scrumptious date-coconut balls and a mango sorbet / fruit salad combo that was out of this world. The portions were not exceptionally large, but definitely reasonable, and very inexpensive, so we happily ordered more dishes than we usually would. An amazing dinner all-around, and the perfect ending to a fabulous day trip. If it wasn't so far from our home in Jerusalem, we'd definitely be regulars!

Pros: Very reasonable prices, Extremely friendly service, Creative and diverse menu options
