Vegan options are tiny. Avoid. - Edit
This place sucked. Greeted poorly, we didn't have reservation so they seated us as the bar but there was plenty of seating available. Asked one guy what was vegan who shrugged and waved over someone else who informed us of the 3 choices. We got 2 of them thinking we'd get the third one after if we enjoyed it. The food was tiny and expensive, there also appeared to be no none alcoholic drinks besides water, I tried to ask the person serving us but we were ignored. We finished the expensive light snack and left pretty quickly. I'd never recommend this place to anyone. The food tasted fine but the experiance was absolutely awful.

Decent number of options - Edit
Went here with a group. The menu was clearly marked, but there wasn't a lot vegan as-is. Our server was very knowledgeable about what is vegan and very on top of things, but unfortunately the kitchen was not. First, they forgot the garnish on my gazpacho. Then they, overcooked the brussel sprouts, which were completely brown and shriveled. I am surprised they even tried to send burnt food to the table. I asked for a beet salad instead, as I didn't want to wait for another hot dish to cook. They then sent that out with goat cheese on it! Our server was livid and very apologetic. She did take both dishes off of the bill as an apology. Unfortunately, the kitchen also took liberties with the orders from the meat eaters too. They made substitutions and left out ingredients in their orders too. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.

creative veggie dishes - Edit
The vegetable dishes at Taberna are always delicious and it's obvious the chefs know what they are doing. We ordered the oyster mushroom kale sauté, the veggie paella and roasted brussels sprouts without butter. Delicious! The grilled asparagus is also vegan, as are the sweet potato fries without the sauce. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful, and was the one who suggested the roasted brussels sprouts to us as a vegan option when ordered without the butter. We were impressed at how he made extra sure the kitchen knew we were vegan.
