Overrated, never coming back - Edit

This place is super famous so you'd expect the food to be delicious but it was quite the opposite.
I ordered the veggie burguer. It was on the smaller size and bland, I couldn't taste the patty at all, only the pineapple. I also ordered the rustic fries and they came with cocktail sauce (which contains shrimp). After explaining that I don't eat meat or fish to the waitress and requested to get extra mayo instead she didn't pay me no mind nor did she come back to the table with more sauce. Overall the service was lacking sympathy.
The people I went with also despised the food. Fries were too salty and were clearly frozen, not freshly cut (also paid on the side, not included in the francesinha). Got to try the vegetarian francesinha and we all hated the sauce, it was nauseating. The francesinha has the same paddy inside as the veggie burger and lettuce and tomato (bad ingredients for the filling in my opinion).
I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Fatty, not in a good way - Edit

There is only a couple of vegetarian options, with only one that can be made vegan by omission of the dairy (veggie burger). The ingredients are not balanced and the patty is a bland deep fired mix of veg. The only thing you can taste is the pineapple (but covered in oil).
I wouldn't ask for them to offer a vegan francesinha at this point (although it's 2023, it would be easy), but they could definitely offer better options.

Pros: There is a burger that can be altered to be vegan

Cons: The burger is very fatty (not in a good way)
