Super yummy breakfast with very large portions! We got two plates and probably could’ve just gotten one between two of us. The chocolate croissant was really good!😄

Lovely little place for breakfast - Edit
One of few vegan friendly places that were open during our stay in Brighton (lot of places closed on Sundays and Mondays). Also they open really early which was very convenient for us.
Read moreWe had breakfast here twice because the overnight oats were just so filling and tasty. Not that it was really special, but the combination just worked and we just love having a healthy option such as oats to start the day with. I had the sweet tahini, pistachio and apricot overnight oats twice. My wife also tried the peanutbutter and strawberry one on the second day, but preferred the tahini one. The coffee and matcha latte here were very good and the staff is so friendly.

Cons: Breakfast in a pan was a bit too oily , Stollen was too much bread like rather than cake , and it only had 1 chunk of marzipan in the middle

Amazing selection of food and warm drinks. - Edit
The food is fresh and cooked and prepared on sight every day. The orange hot chocolate is one of my favourite hot drinks and the cake selection is always amazing. Staff so friendly and a lovely place out of the way of town to eat. Cant wait to try the new place in hove with the evening plates

Great little cafe - Edit
Their breakfast sandwiches are gorgeous - various vegan options but my favourite is the vegan BLT with avocado - delicious! Their cakes are great too - and huge! Eat in it take away (they have tables outside).

Worthy successor to The Almond Tree - Edit
From 2013-2019 there was a lovely vegetarian cafe on this spot called The Almond Tree (you can still find it on Happy Cow, 5 stars!) When they left and T @ The Dials took the spot, we were disappointed to see only a few vegetarian options offered.
Read moreFast forward a couple of years and we find that at some point before March 2020 they switched to being all vegetarian (or did we somehow misread it that first time?!), with a huge amount of vegan - and really really good! I've eaten there three times now, had something different every time, and never been disappointed.
One thing to note: the menu seems to undersell the food, as everything I've ordered so far came with more than it said. The veggie sausage bap came with a secret hash brown; the big breakfast 'sandwich' is practically a full English fried breakfast in a giant bap.
The vegan 'red velvet' hot chocolate is especially incredible, like drinking liquid cake.
They apparently relaunched in March 2020, which was horribly unlucky timing - but fortunately are doing well enough that they are about to open a second site in Hove. Hooray!
Pros: Excellent range of food, Really friendly staff, Good prices
Cons: It's quite small, so could be hard to get a table

fantastic (massive) unique sandwiches! - Edit
4 stars as not all vegan but highly highly recommend! I've lived in Seven Dials for a year now, and only recently come across this place. I missed a whole year of this goodness!! I'd say 90% of the menu is vegan. They have AMAZING sandwiches. Amazing. Most (all?) of their vegan meats etc are made in-house. The owners love what they do and are so friendly and warm. I've tried the VBLAT, New York Deli, Club and Shawarma.. all were fantastic. Great prices too. As at Feb 2021 about £5-£6.50 each, and MASSIVE. All packaging is recyclable cardboard and paper for the sandwiches. Excited for lockdown to ease so we can sit outside and try this afternoon tea the other reviewers are talking about!
Read morePros: Almost all vegan, Unique vegan sandwiches, great value, Staff friendly, all recyclable cardboard and paper
Cons: I feel they could easily be all vegan, Sometimes a queue and bit of a wait (but worth it)

Lovely coffee, lovely place - Edit
I have been here a couple of times for takeaway coffee and lunch. The staff are very friendly and very helpful in pointing out which of the cakes are vegan (most of them are). The coffee is well made and nice and strong and they have a good selection of non dairy milks. The last time I went I had the coronation 'chicken' sandwich which was great. This is my go-to coffee place when I visit Brighton.
