Amazing food - Edit
A friends recommended this place and having never tried Syrian food me and my partner were curious to try. First of all the outside is STUNNING and gave me high hopes for what was to come. It’s a huge place which was surprisingly full on a week night. We ordered the homemade lemonade for drinks which was unreal, I could happily only drink that for the rest of my life it was so sweet yet so sour and flavourful. For food we had an array of dishes as it’s almost like a small plates place. We had falafel, hummus, baba ganoush, stuffed vine leaves, pitta, lemon spinach, fried aubergine and spicy potato’s. I am not the biggest fan of aubergine so I can’t comment much on that but everything else was lovely. The best part was the falafel but I’m bias because I love well done falafel. All in all this place is well worth a visit if you’re in Limassol.

Lovely restaurant to go with no special occasion - Edit
Syrian Restaurant is special, because it looks really old-fashioned (in a good way)! Some of the tables are located on a terrace with natural shade created by grape vines, with a fountain in a corner and beautiful pamela trees. The interior is also nice and looks very authentic. For tourists, I think it is a must-visit place in Limassol.
Read moreThe restaurant has about 15 vegan items on their menu. My personal advice – Syrian Lentil Soup, Falafel and Maghmour. Soup is absolutely amazing! (Ask for it, because it is absent on the menu)
Another good thing about this place – mint tea. They serve very nice tea with fresh and tasty mint.
On top of that you can choose between two salads and order spicy fried potato cubes – super tasty!
Free parking is available (but space is limited).

Tremendous variety and very inexpensive however on the last night we went the “cold” dishes were to my taste excessively indeed icy cold. This was probably a atypical event as it hadn’t been like that the previous visit

One of the best middle eastern food I have had - Edit
This place is the perfect vegan option in Limassol. In Cyprus it is still at its infancy when it comes to offering good options to vegan food, but you are pretty safe with your options at this Syrian restaurant. On the menu there is plenty of variations to pick from the menu; at a very low price. I ate mainly the appetizers which I shared with a large group of people like a meze. Most of it tasted amazing and 2.50 Euros for these appetizers is amazing. Definitely my strongest experience with middle-eastern food. The location was decent enough, but a bit sterile typical restaurant flavour. I would miss a bit more authentic taverna experience. Overall great place to eat if you happen to be in Limassol.
