small place- only four tables, staff is super friendly and you feel like you are at your family’s house for dinner. fresh home cooked food and staff is knowledgeable about veganism so just be clear when ordering! lots of great options and menu says things can be modified vegan. real authentic food. they offer day trip excursions like going to arak making and trekking.

Sweet Warung turned out to be one of the best flavoured meals of our trip!! If you can deal with spice definitely ask for it! We ordered the Green Papaya Curry and the Urab which were both super duper delicious. And I didn't see these on any other menus. Owner understood what vegan was quite well. Although I did ask for tidak telur (no egg), tidak terasi (no shrimp paste) and no fish sauce.

Delicious Tempeh Curry - Edit
I’m gutted I didn’t get a picture of my food but I was SO hungry after a day of travelling I dived straight in. The owners spoke really good English, were super friendly and let us eat even past their last orders and allowed us to wait in their Warung to be picked up by our host. The tempeh curry was delicious! They also offer massages which me and my boyfriend came by the next day for!

Small restaurants that serves meat but for every dish you can request the vegan option. The owners are really friendly and the food we tried was tasty and fresh. Try the coconut arak!
