Good for a quick stop - Edit
This place is nice for a quick stop. The all you can eat aspect is nice. The salad bar has lots of options and dressing are labeled vegan to let you know if you can have them. Lentil soup was very good. The only downfall was that it is dirty inside

The most vegan-friendly restaurant in Sarasota. - Edit
A nice huge salad bar with everything on it that can be thought of. Labels for everything makes it easy to choose. Even two vegan soups and breads with vegan butter.

Sweet Tomatoes - Edit
If you like salad, this is a great place. Lots and lots of veggies, beans, and vegan stuff to put into your salad. They have a few vegan options for other things (food, salad dressings), but not many -- and very often, they use white sugar to sweeten their vegan stuff. (I don't eat white sugar, so I find this frustrating. Don't know if it's bone-char sugar, and it would be so easy to use organic or raw sugar instead.) It bothers me that they consider themselves a healthy restaurant, but offer SO many badly unhealthy items. And put sugar and bleached flour in things that otherwise would be healthy. But they are the best salad bar I've seen in town. (I'd rate them "good" 3.5.

Cons: good price, needs more vegan options , needs more sugar-free options

Vegan-friendly, sort of - Edit
It’s a salad-bar buffet, so of course a vegan can eat here. And the restaurant is very good about marking things as vegan.
Read moreThe problem is, there was only one vegan salad dressing (French), one vegan soup, and no vegan pastas.
The vegetables were fresh but the fruit selection was abysmal.
