Good but pricey - Edit
Had a tasty passionfruit and mango smoothie some nice treats here produced by the seller Veganissimo, as the store is no longer open to go directly to. These treats were a ‘Twix’ bar, raspberry truffle and a chocolate coated marzipan.
Read moreAbsolutely delicious treats but relatively pricey around 90 Baht each and the drink was 120, my total was around 360Baht which is quite expensive for Thailand. If you eat Thai food it’s cheaper, but Westernised treats usually come with a higher price tag.
Really cute location, a bit far out but on the way back from Na Mueang Waterfall 2. (Good views up there but waterfall is dry atm as it isn’t the right season yet).

Super vegan friendly - Edit
Super vegan friendly menu ❤️ Happy about number of vegan options. The portion is quite small though. We ordered Pad Thai, red curry and Banoffee pie. Pad Thai was not that great, and the portion was too less. Banoffee was kind of frozen and not that great too. I wouldn’t recommend these two. Red curry was really tasty but again the portion was quite less. I would still go back to try other dishes as there were many.

Extraordinary - Edit
Sweet sisters café has the most delicious vegan food 😋 I had tofu cakes and crispy mushrooms with spinach. As the spinach was not available, the staff proposed another green leaf, which was amazingly crispy and delicious. My partner had the VB2 veggie bowl with quinoa. A good and healthy choice, although not as spectacular as mine.

Go To Place in the area - Edit
I revisted this place many times for the green curry (yum!) and the fresh spring rolls with the best tamarind sauce I have ever had. Therefore, I am not able to rate any other dishes - however, the staff was always friendly and the shop offers some very nice essentials and treats. Relaxing atmosphere, despite being next to the road.
Read moreEdit: I always asked for the green curry to be veganized, as it is not marked "vegan" in the menu, so can't 100% say if it actually is.

fab vegan options - Edit
a really lovely cafe with some fantastic vegan options on the menu. not only was it a lovely place to sit, but the staff were fabulous too. we had the fresh spring rolls and rice soup, which is super hearty and very reasonable. delish vegan ice cream… however this was a little pricey for the portion size (1 scoop), however i would still definitely recommend visiting here. we came here twice and would come again if we came back to the island

Great family-owned establishment - Edit
I loved my experience here! The restaurant is spacious and beautifully decorated. They have an enormous shop right next door with many healthy products. I asked for raw vegan options and was pleasantly surprised when the kitchen staff made me something special (the pesto wraps but with lettuce leaves, it was amazing!). The two young sons help out as waiters and they are so nice. The youngest is only 16 and told us about his daily life experiences on the island and how he has moved away from online learning - it was so nice to see a young lad being passionate about his journey. Their grey cat is also very welcoming and will demand pets. Loved it here, 100% recommended!

Delicious vegan dinner / Heerlijk vegan kerstdiner - Edit
Nice and cozy place where we have enjoyed a delicious vegan Christmas dinner. There was a choice of several vegan options. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is very helpful. There are even vegan desserts and also gluten-free. There is a shop where genuine Thai organic items are sold.

I live close to this restaurant, so I come here very often. Although not 100% vegan, they have great vegan food. I recommend trying their mushroom laarb (Vegan) with brown rice! They have different kinds of healthy drinks and desserts as well. Worth visiting!

Great Place to eat - Edit
We ate here once (for now). For Thai standards this is a really good looking spot. They have a great menu card and have lots of delicious food. They serve meat and fish so not 100% vegan ... but plenty of options!

Lack of vegan options - Edit
We've eaten here 3 times. Despite of the place is nicely done (atmosphere, music, shop…), our main experience is it's totally overrated if you are vegan. They provide not many (vegan) options and the cuisine is nothing special, the same is about Thai dishes (which are MUCH more expensive than normally). Portions are very small portions: I'm not the biggest eater but last time, I've tried two dishes, spent 300+ baht for them and been still hungry — usually I can have a good lunch on the island for 150-200 baht.
Read moreThey have "gluten free" and "dairy free" but no "vegetarian" or "vegan" signs in their menu. However, they are very good in understanding what you need if you tell them which ingredients should be excluded.
P.S. Our non-vegetarian friends were also not very happy about the taste of their Thai dishes.
P.P.S. Actually it's 100% "needs improvement" (2 stars, not 3 "fair") because I won't visit it again until something changes… but at least they try to do something good.
Pros: nice atmosphere, understand what you need
Cons: lack of vegan options, small portions, expensive

Went to the Sweet Sisters for lunch and everything was top notch. It's easy to find, nice friendly service and of course delicious food and drinks. The menu had lots of different options that i would have liked to try. I took the crispy rice salad and it was a peach (not literally)! Good portions and superb taste. Go try this place out.
