Delicious breakfasts! - Edit
Tried the hash one day and the sunrise sandwich the next. All delicious and big portions. Side potatoes and coffees were also amazing. Got a few other bakery items to go and they were fantastic.

Amazing vegan café - Edit
Went to this little hidden gem after my friend recommended I try it out. I had the spanakopita and it was so creamy and flavourful! I also tried the butterfly pea latte with oat milk, a delicately sweetened floral tea. Some of the best vegan food I’ve had! Will definitely be coming back to try out more items on the menu. #Veganuary

Super cute café - Edit
Although I haven't tried many items, everything I had was delicious. The Cheezy Hash was delicious, as was the Beyond Burger and Caesar Salad! They really shine with their desserts, though. The dark chocolate raspberry scone was the best scone I've ever had 😲 and their cinnamon buns are next level amazing. Highly recommend!

Ok lunch spot - Edit
We had the bean quinoa salad, curry tofu wrap, spanakopita, cinnamon bun and millionaire bar. Everything thing was good and I will come here again to try some more things. Based on how everyone was raving about the cinnamon buns I expected too much, It's a pretty standard cinnamon bun, good but not amazing.

Huge selection of vegan food - Edit
This place has a huge selection of vegan options to choose from. When we were there, they even offered full dinners of lasagna and cheesy pasta at a pretty decent price for the number of people it would feed.
Read moreThey have options for kids that I would like as an adult.
They have all the coffees and teas you could want, as well as smoothies. My husband had a single shot of espresso, which he liked, and I had the Dreamy Chocolate smoothie which was delicious.
There really is something for everyone there - and something for every meal. Whether you want breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a snack, they have something that sounds good.
We went early morning and had the curry wrap and scramble wrap and they were both delicious. The Havarti cheese they used in the scramble wrap was so good. It reminded me of lasagna... but in a wrap!
We plan to work our way through the entire menu because everything looks so good. This is going to be our go-to date night place, which happens to fall on a Wednesday, and I've noticed on their Facebook page that they have specials on Wednesdays, so it works out great!

Cinnamon buns to die for - Edit
A wonderful addition to Edmonton’s vegan restaurants. The location is easily accessible and parking is available. This is a wonderful place to stop for hot lunch. And if you are full after your meal make sure that you treat yourself with a cinnamon bun to go, you won’t regret it.

This is my second time here and also tried the food at an event! Their beet salad is delicious, so is the spanakopita with the tzatziki sauce! I don’t have little kids but they have an awesome inside playground with little markets, toys and costumes!

Met a friend for lunch on Sunday. Staff amazingly friendly and helpful! Food was fantastic. Brought another friend back on Friday. Same experience.
Read moreThe staff are wonderful down to earth people. They love their jobs and they love their customers. It really shows.
Everything I have tried food wise has been delicious! There is very little plant based fare in my area of the city and it is definitely worth the drive for me to go to Sweet Pea Cafe!
The cafe is not huge, which adds to the charm. It could be tough during cooler seasons to sit during peak times of the day. During warmer times there are tables outside and a lovely green space next to the cafe with benches and a gazebo.
Lots of options for every age!
Pros: Amazing selection of eats and treats!, Super friendly, positive staff. , Uncontested location with great parking.
Cons: Cafe is not huge.

New vegan cafe in West Edmonton - Edit
Surprise! With minimal fan fare a new vegan restaurant has opened in west Edmonton. Sweet Pea Cafe opened earlier this month in what was previously the west side location of Wild Earth Bakery. The cafe is located in a small strip mall in the middle of a quiet residential area with tons of parking. The restaurant is cute, and upon walking in the door you are greeted with a selection of vegan baked goods. There aren’t servers as such, you place your order at the counter and pay. They call your name when your drinks are ready ala Starbucks, but they did bring our food to the table. You might have to grab your own cutlery. The cafe doesn’t have an extensive menu but the items we tried were tasty. They also have the best selection of non-dairy milks that I’ve seen in Edmonton, and I can personally vouch for the tastiness of the oat milk latte. We tried a few items from the menu, including Mac and cheese, with or without roasted vegetables, curried Beyond Meat chicken wrap, the Buddha bowl with an excellent walnut dresssing, and everyone’s favourite, the spanakopita with vegan tzatziki sauce. The baking was good and included cinnamon buns, scones, various cakes and energy-type ballls and some gluten free options. There is an attached children’s play area set to open next month.
