Teasty Indian and Nepali food! - Edit
Very nice and cheap Indian and Nepali food. All vegetarian and almost everything can be made vegan as well. Wonderfull and very friendly staff! The interior is very basic and has nothing to offer, but the food and staff make up for it. Highly recommended, we even went back two days later because it was so good!

Great place to eat - Edit
The food here was great and affordable. The manager and waiters were friendly. I speak Hindi and was able to communicate with their staff in Hindi as well as in English (with manager). They made special Jain Vegetarian food for me. I would definitely go again.

Good food but awful place - Edit
The food was good and the waiter friendly. However, the place is really not nice. It smells bad and seems almost unsanitary. Not the place where you would like to eat...

Our fav place in Yangon - Edit
We LOVE this place so much! This is our second time in Myanmar and each time were in Yangon we come here every night! Yes, EVERY NIGHT! And we always have the thali set (3500mmk)! Each night it's different, and the food is cooked fresh. The owner is so lovely, he always educates us about local vegetables that he uses in the dishes. The food is sooo delicious! And free tea of course! Some nights he even comes out the kitchen to give us extra food!

Cheap, but not cheerful - Edit
There were 2 of us. My husband's meal came quite quickly and it was good. I must have waited at least a further 20 minutes for my own meal by which time of course, my husband had finished.
Read moreWhilst the food was good, the ambiance and decor are dreadful.
Staff did not speak English (another reviewer said they did) and were indifferent.
Unfortunately, we cannot recommend.
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Awful environment and meals not served together.

Very good Indian food and lovely owner - Edit
This Indian-Nepali restaurant is run by a very friendly Nepali man. It offers a huge menu of pure vegetarian food (no egg but dairy in some dishes). He knows what veganism is and can help you finding vegan dishes in the menu or veganise some of them. The food is inexpensive and fair regarding size (I would not say they serve big portions though). The food is tasty and fresh. I recommend a stop of you like Indian food!

4000 kyat tasty meal - Edit
Like others have said, tasty and reasonable price for Indian food, however, the environment in there isn’t the best. And they will bring you a bottle of water without asking, which they will then charge you 600 kyat for. Other than that, delicious channa masala!

Local Indian / Nepali pure veg restaurant. Very clean compared to almost everywhere else which is a real local place in this area. Thali with refils was 3500 Ks. Friendly welcome.

Delicious, Affordable, Authentic! - Edit
This restaurant offers delicious Indian and Nepalese food that is made to order, flavourful, and affordable. The owner took time to suggest vegan dishes for us and everything he suggested was delicious. We had the Aloo Tomato, Mixed Veggies, Pakoras, and Chapati, and loved everything.

Clean, friendly, good quality food - Edit
Manager is friendly and speaks excellent English and can point you to vegan options, NB there is a fair amount of paneer dishes and some which likely contain curds.
Read morePortions are very good but prices reflect better quality and sizes, coming in at mostly 3,000 to 4,000 Kyats plus rice at 400 Kyats.
Thali set 3,500 Kyats
Roti 2 pieces
Rice
Sepgi 2 pieces
Dal
Mix Raita
Papad
Pohwa 2,000 Kyats was exceptional. Cooked to order.
Lovely Masala tea 500 Kyats
Upma 2,000
Didn't seem to mind us having certain dishes which are generally regarded as plain-ish breakfast time dishes, in the evening instead.
3 streets east from Backpackers Guesthouse.
Pros: Clean, Friendly staff, Very good portions and flavour
Cons: Not sure where the toilet is! Maybe thro' kitchen?
