I like to pop into Sweet Bones for take-away cakes and sweet treats but do love the tofu scrambled for breakfast and the Mac cheese toastie for lunch. Def worth a visit.

No happy faces here - Edit
Miserable staff member let it down. I got a bowl with the the bare minimum. Asked for avo! Got charged for it! But didn’t get it!! Too hard basket to try and claim it.
Read moreCool atmosphere. I’d say it’s most certainly overpriced for what you get.
Maybe I should just go for the sweet baked goods. I suppose that is what they are prob best at doing. Still grateful for a vegan cafe.
Pros: Vegan

The food is great but can be a little bit overpriced. The staff are good at their jobs but don't go out of their way to help you. It is always busy here and they don't take reservations. Good coffee! We love their pancakes and the tofu scramble.

Fabulous! - Edit
Smoothies, soft coconut ice cream and sundaes, baked treats, full breakfasts served all day, Tex-Mex themed dishes, sandwiches, bowls, burgers and more. I had the Soul Bowl, $17.50: avo, sauerkraut, roast pumpkin, spinach, brown rice (cold), and I chose the cashew tamari dressing. I took away a roasted pumpkin-‘ricotta’ roll (nice flaky pastry) and a big chocolate-chip cookie. WiFi available. Next visit, I had the Big Breakfast, $19.50: generous serving of loaded tofu scramble topped with spiced seeds, hummus, avo, coconut bacon, toasted sourdough. Filling and tasty. I took away a BBQ seitan-mac-n-cheese wrap, $17.50, which was hefty and good.

Everything on the menu is 10/10. Can't go past the Big Brekkie or the TLT. Decadent peanut butter cups too.

Pros: The name gave me plenty of space for a pun title.

Food is good, but really overpriced. - Edit
For a vegan cafe, it’s a bit rich that they charge a $1 surcharge for all vegan milk except soy. With already high prices, things start to get expensive. The food is good, but I resent being gouged. Rarely go there anymore.

4 words - vegan all day breakfast. Tofu scramble, coconut bacon, tomato, avocado, hummus, seeds, spinach & 2 giant slices of sourdough. Yes, yes & more yes. While its sometimes so busy seating can be at a premium, it's worth waiting for.

Huge range of vegan options, mostly delicious. I tried a few over the week I staued there. The loaded banasna toast was fantastic, and the muffins are great too. The vibe of the place is really cool too. If I lived in Canberra I would be here every morning.

I just love this place - Edit
This is everything you want a vegan cafe to be (except cheap). The food is great and accessible to non-vegans as well. I wish I lived in Canberra so I could eat here more often. I just wish the venue were twice as big to accommodate all the people who want to eat there. Even though it's crowded, for some reason I loved this place enough to go out of my way to make a second trip during my one week stay for work. This is probably one of my top 5 favorite vegan cafes I've been to. Please go and support this awesome cafe!

super expensive - Edit
I'm not sure why this has the $ sign as it is more like $$$. The dishes and drinks are really expensive. It is also very difficult to get a seat and dairy milk is default in coffee unless you ask otherwise.
Read moreThat said, they do a number of good vegan dishes and it's great to have choice as Canberra doesn't have too much else like it. But it's not much for the price and not very inventive.
