Excellent Paneer Masala - Edit
My wife and I LOVE their Paneer Masala. Not too spicy, cut and into medium size chunks and big portions. Always have leftovers.

Good Indian food - Edit
There are lots of vegan options there and the staff is helpful. The food was very good. We ate there when we were staying overnight in the city for Valentine's Day last year. There are no vegan bread options. I would like to go there again to try some other dishes.

Indian food by KC airport - Edit
Very good food. I was hesitant after reading the reviews. When I ordered I confirmed that the items I ordered were vegan and he pointed to the symbol on the menu saying it’s vegan. I ordered a soup which looked very milky to me. I assumed it was coconut milk but I couldn’t taste coconut so it could have been dairy. Staff was nice, but odd.

Best Indian in KC - Edit
I love their Chana masala! If you like spicy stuff, ask for the pepper salad on the side, it is basically a small plate of onions and peppers. They always have veg options on the buffet too. Beautiful decor and nice people. The Indian grocery next door is awesome too.

My favorite Indian restaurant in KC - Edit
Very nice place with friendly staff. Nice patio. Vegetarian menu. However the staff isn't extremely knowledgeable on what vegan means. I recommend telling them vegetarian with no milk products at all. Chances are they will go to the chef and talk to her. I recommend the dal fry (it is not on the menu)(not the dal mahkni [it isn't vegan]), the chana masala, the aloo gobhi, and the vegetable curry.

Cons: Staff not very knowledgeable on vegan, A little pricey

Food is incredible, options are limited - Edit
The food is very tasty, the staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is really nice. But the vegan options are quite limited. I mean, the rice isn’t vegan. I gotta have rice when I eat Indian food!

Cons: Lack of vegan options, Rice isn’t vegan

Good food, higher price for atmosphere - Edit
We enjoy coming here on a nicer night out. Another local Indian place up north in KC is just as good and less expensive... but you're paying a bit for it to be a nicer location for an evening out. Unfortunatly, ther isn't much else around to DO after you're done having dinner up here :)
Read moreVery good food, the owners are very nice and they understand vegan very well. Sadly their rice isn't vegan, and most of their breads aren't either. Your dish options are a little more limited than other spots in KC, but if you want a nicer evening out this is one of few options around (not that KC won't have people in shorts and ripped t-shirts anyway... sigh).
Pros: Nicer spot for an evening out, Pretty good food
Cons: A little expensive, Fewer vegan friendly options than others
