We ate dinner here and the staff knew what vegan was and were able to advise and give me vegan food. The portions are really generous so we just ordered tempura which came with a starter of edamame and served alongside rice, pickles and miso using kombu dashi. We really liked the staff and it's seemly very popular with local monks.
