Quick & Healthy - Edit
Very happy to see a variety of greens as well as some things you don’t see on many salad bars like purple sweet potatoes, Kalamata olives and sauerkraut. It’s a bit of a luxury and the price reflects that.

Vegetables! Finally! - Edit
I stopped here while on a cross-country drive, desperate for a meal with vegetables. The salad bar had everything I needed, including a delicious, fresh, crunchy kale salad and some fresh-cooked beans. The price for the salad bar by weight is good too. For a salad and a bottled drink I spent under $10.

The staff and clientele here are very COVID-safe, a rarity in Missouri and in middle America. I really appreciated the overall vibe of respectful, kind people here. If you've been on the road for days eating nothing but bread and nuts, running into anti-masker trumpists at every turn, stop here for a breath of relief.
Pros: Fresh veggies at salad bar, An oasis in a sea of red
Cons: Beans had 0 salt in them 💀💀💀

Will return! - Edit
Great health food store with a small buffet in the back. We filled our plates with healthy organic salad bar items and with rice and beans and roasted potatoes and homemade whole grain bread. Hummus was excellent. We are traveling through and loved finding healthy eating while on the road. Will return!

Good Fresh Salad Bar :-) - Edit
I had the salad bar for lunch and was quite happy with it. It was $6.99/ lb and is available 11am to 2pm, Mon - Fri. Everyone was friendly. I will eat here again next time I come to Joplin.

Been to better - Edit
Suzanne's is not my favorite store in Joplin. They do not always have an abundant amount of vegetarian/vegan foods. Tofurky deli slices always seem to be the peppered flavor--I like it but that kind gives me heartburn. They have limited Amy's items as well.
Read moreThe first time I was there I did not feel welcome. Also, some of the employees don't seem to know how to operate the computers very well. I prefer Fox Farm over Suzanne's.
Pros: Sometimes veggie food
Cons: Limited selection, Staff could be friendlier

Online price false advertising - Edit
I live close to this store, and was looking at their website to purchase a product. The online price was $28.79. The Retail Price was $35.99. I went in the store and bought it and the price was $37.99. I emailed them disappointed in that, if you live around here, you don't get the online price, and the price they charged me was higher than any of the prices listed. In checking their website today, they've increased all the prices for this product, and have not responded to my initial email. You can also purchase this product online for $22.79, which is where I will purchase it in the future.
