Great flavours! - Edit
We visited Suyuan in August 2020 and were very impressed with their vegan options. We enjoyed the mixed platter to start and the flavours in our main courses were great. We tried the 'Green beans stirred fried with Chinese olive, tofu & ginger, garlic & dried red chilli' and the 'English cabbage cooked with ginger, garlic & red dried chilli with five spiced tofu'. Also really enjoyed the spring onion pancake. Would definitely recommend.

Flavoursome Chinese food - Edit
The combinations and unusual ingredients encouraged me to try this restaurant and it did not disappoint! The flavours were traditional and the food was homemade. The portions were a good size too.

Delicious Food - Edit
We love eating here! It’s Chinese food like the food you get in China, fresh, flavoursome, light and spicy. So many vegan options on the fully veg menu and is BYO so prices are very reasonable. Love it!

Early bird special & great tea - Edit
We used our jet lag to our advantage and caught the early bird special. Everything was great, though being in England, the flavor is really toned down, but they were kind enough to bring is some chili sauce.

Great restaurant, fantastic atmosphere - Edit
The atmosphere of the place was very relaxing. We came there after having a big starter from a Bristol pub so we were not too hungry so only got few starters to share. I don't remember the name of what we picked but the spring rolls type of starter was incredible. A must!
Read moreI wish we would have been more hungry cause it was a really nice romantic dinner! Also: don't go without ordering an ice tea, they come in jugs and are delicious.
Pros: Great atmosphere , Ice tea, coming in big jugs, The "spring rolls" starter

Winning Chinese Vegan - Edit
Fairly new to the growing vegan scene is Suyuan - only open two months ago. Plenty of tasty vegan options on the menu in cosy surroundings just off Queens Square. Had a great early bird meal for £12.99 which included a starter, main dish with either rice or pancake accompaniments.

Best Chinese food I've ever had - Edit
First of all this is not like any other Chinese with the typical english/Chinese dishes. We had quite a lot from the menu since we were very keen on trying new things and we were not disappointed. All dishes were beautiful and new to us which is a plus. Loved it so much I wish I could go back every day!

so good! - Edit
Amazing vegetarian Chinese with really lovely staff and an innovative menu - such a welcone addition to Bristol. I went for lunch with my (meat eating) team, and everyone came away raving about it. Their early bird menu before 7pm is the best value - particularly if you like to try a few things, it could easily add up.

Best Chinese food we’ve had since China - Edit
Really enjoyed our meal - the food was fresh and tasty. The noodles are especially good and very reasonably priced. Many more things than be vegan than those which say vegan on the menu. Nicely decorated place and friendly staff. No alcohol but tasty smoothies, teas or iced teas.
