No ramen, no cry - Edit
What do you get when you cross a sushi train with reggae music? Sushi Yah-Man.
Read moreWe came around 7:30 pm on a Tuesday without a booking and we’re surprised to find a bustling restaurant. Fortunately they had a spare table for two and we were seated straight away. It did take a while for someone to come back to take our order though.
But In a town with few vegan options, we were thankful to have a restaurant with a dedicated vegetarian/vegan menu. Even still the options were pretty limited, but we were able to order enough to satiate our appetite.
Vegan options include the usual suspects of any respectable sushi restaurant; avocado rolls, vege tempura rolls, spring rolls and vegetable gyozas.
Everything we had was good, but nothing amazing. Wouldn’t recommend this place per se, but if you find yourself in Noosa Heads, beggars can’t be choosers.

Vegan/veg menu available - Edit
They first couple of times I came here I wasn’t aware there was a veg/vegan menu, until I read reviews on here and asked for it the third time I went. The staff are very lovely. I like that the menu states fish in their miso, which is a shame but great that they state it. They are also great with saying what sauces/dressings aren’t vegan which is so handy, and they have alternative sauces for vegans. The teriyaki tofu dish is yum, the staff were accommodating in offering more leafy greens to accommodate the miso. Unfortunately the vegetarian curry and ramen are not vegan. I love the vege stack roll, salad roll, vege spring rolls and avo and cucumber rolls.

Huge vegan menu - Edit
I tried a lot of the vegan rolls on the menu. All yummy and so happy they are all vegan. Great service even during Covid times. The agadashi tofu was cold which maybe normal but I would have preferred it hot. Not pictured as were eaten too fast but edamame beans were great too!

Just ok - Edit
I was happy to find this place to eat dinner. They have a vegetarian menu with vegan option (no mayo & sauce) but the soya sauce was too salty and they didn't served us wasibi and ginger to eat with them. Still pretty decent.
