素食茄汁牛肉麵 is the name, they also have dairy and eggs dishes, so if you are vegan you can ask them which does not contain dairy and eggs

The “beef” in the ”beef” noodle soup was a little strange, personally not my favourite texture but other people may like it.

Had the mushroom & meat noodles and stinky tofu. I was pleasantly surprised that the mock meat was distinctly tasty. The stinky tofu was not bad as well. It’s great to have a hot meal in this currently cold weather in Taiwan.

This restaurant have a menu in English to choose from. Most of the plates are with mock meat. The beef in tomato soup (first one on the menu) was really good and convincing. We however did not appreciate as much our other two dishes (pork noodle soup and wonton soup). The ambiance sound was the same sentence repeated over and over which annoyed us.

The tomato beef soup was rich and tomatoy! The "beef" was actually monkey head mushrooms and the noodles were perfectly cooked. An English menu can be provided on request. I also had the stinky tofu. Not my thing but worth the try!
Read moreThe restaurant is located at the end of the alley. It's small and has an overwhelming smell of incense. There's also a CD(?) of loud chanting.
Pros: Buddhist vegan, lots of options
