No Hate for SushiLove - Edit
I ordered the miso soup and Starry Inari. The miso was flavorful and had lots of tiny tofu cubes. The Starry Inari is "three tofu pouches stuffed with rice and vegetable sautéed to order and topped with spicy mayo." I asked for no mayo, so they offered to use teriyaki instead, which was a good substitute.

Fun vegan sushi - Edit
We ordered our sushi to go and enjoyed trying a few of a lot different options. We really enjoyed several of them and the inari! While it was good, we’ve had better vegan sushi - although maybe it didn’t hold up well for the delivery process and would have been better in person.

Didn’t like sushi before going vegan… - Edit
But I LOVE sushi now that I’ve had it many, many times from SushiLove. Does it taste like omnivore sushi? I wouldn’t know. I’ve been vegan for so long and never cared for murdering fish, so I cannot say if it would satisfy the tastebuds of pickier humans. If you’re just basing it on flavours and not trying to pretend it is something else, I doubt you will be disappointed. Everyone is so sweet there and I love getting sushi! I get it a few times a week now.

Meh - Edit
I don’t know. This place looked interesting but definitely not close to sushi. I wanted to love it but I ended up not. Needs more improvement. More spicy mayo and wasabi to give it that “sushi” taste was needed but their ingredients in their rolls wasn’t enough to convince my taste buds.

Lots of great options - Edit
Great sushi options. We had the “don’t be shellfish” roll. Was very good. This is one of 6 trucks/carts in a vegan pod in portland. Really great food from all of the carts we ordered from.

The tiki roll and the tuna roll (made from tomato) were really good. The spicy sauce on the tiki made the dish!

They had the lobster roll as the special for the day and it is amazing. By far the best sushi roll I have ever had, and now I know I will dream of it tonight. Staff was incredibly friendly.

Vegan Sushi! - Edit
The husband and I are newly vegan and were very skeptical about vegan sushi. We pretty much tried this just to say we tried it. Boy, was this a surprise. It was freaking delicious and since there's no seafood, the price is awesome. They nailed their sauces, rice, and veggies. All their rolls are delicious, but my favorite so far is the Avalon roll. Definitely give sushilove a try, sushi lover or not!

So good and friendly staff! - Edit
I went to the SushiLove restaurant location on 209 7th st Oregon city, Oregon. I got the mother of dragons and it was so good (and they arranged the sushi’s in the shape of a dragon😍) the staff were so friendly, I’m allergic to onions and garlic and they happily replaced the tofu and mushrooms with and 2 veggies of my choice from the menu! (Didn’t have to pay extra) the lady who comes out to give you your plate of sushi is super nice too. It’s a nice and quiet vintage looking place. And the plates of sushi range from $5 to $7 so it’s cheap and you get some bomb ass sushi.

So fun and delicious! - Edit
We shared a sampling of three rolls and a side. Everything was delicious and made to order. I have missed sushi so much, and this definitely scratched my itch for it. We did see they are selling their cart in Piknik Park but will be at a brick and mortar with a mobile cart soon.

I want to come back! - Edit
I came here for a quick snack during my visit to Portland so I only tried one roll -- the Don't be Shellfish (avocado, cucumber, oyster mushroom, spicy mayo). I devoured it! Super tasty. The person running the cart prepared it with care and was very nice, and I can't wait to come back here for a full meal with a friend sometime to sample the rest of the menu.
