Nice environment, food is meh - Edit
The place moved to a new location beside the marina and it’s beautiful. I remember the food being okay and it did not improve. I got the falafel bowl and I have no idea why it has rice inside. It’s so plain and tasteless. The falafels are good his the rest is just so bland. The hummus is very little. I think they added the rice to fill up the plate more but not worth it at all. Coffee was good and so was the smoothie

Changed location and raised prices - Edit
Good food. Great variety of vegan dishes, changed location and is now a posh restaurant in the Flamingo Marina.

Great breakfast spot! - Edit
Really cute spot near Playa Flamingo with great outdoor seating. We came for breakfast and they had several great vegan options—we got a green smoothie, oatmeal with flax/chia/coconut and cinnamon roasted apples, chia seed parfait, and avocado toast. All were delicious! Definitely stop by this restaurant if you’re in the area!!

Amazing vegan options - Edit
We visited with a party of 5 and everyone loved their meal!! Kale and quinoa salad, chopped salad, veggie tacos, Acai bowl, avocado toast and a delicious coconut chia parfait. We visited everyday during the week. For dinner we loved the butternut squash soup, the salads and the falafel platter!!! It is hands down best we’ve had anywhere in world!!!
Read moreSmoothies are delicious too!! They had coconut, almond, oat and soy milk options for our coffees.
Pros: Air conditioning, Music, Vibes

Wish the menu was bigger - Edit
Since la Hoja verde was closed for renovations until May, I tried this place instead. Not a fan of breakfast food, so I was a little bummed that the only real vegan lunchy option was the shrimp quinoa without shrimp or the tacos without meat. For being kind of a health food restaurant I expected more vegan options. Limeade was good and refreshing, though.

Cons: Hardly any vegan options, Only breakfast style food

Surfbox has many delicious salad options, rice bowls that will 100% fill you up and leave you dreaming about it next time, and more! There are many options in our opinion for vegans...we know because we eat there all the time!
