Supra-delicious

Majority of plates have the vegan option. It's less the ghee. Delicious and extremely friendly staff. Highly recommend!!

Pros: Food, Staff, Environment

We came hungry…. We left hungry

Loooooong time to wait for food at 1:30pm on a Saturday. Medhu vadas came spoiled… twice. Puris were bland. Food served in dirty dishes. Part of our order never arrived. Management seemed unconcerned with how horrible our dining experience was.

Good to hear. When I’m in the area again I’ll stop in.
When I came by several weeks ago I was there between 5:30 and 6:00 pm. Doors were locked and no lights were on. No one appeared to be in the restaurant.

Great vegan options for Indian

I loved the Channa Masala. But, everything we ordered vegan was awesome! Check them out.

Worth going again...

The place was cute, but the tables and floor were in need of servicing. The food was fantastic - I got the alo gobi and curry. The menu is labeled with many vegan options and a small description which was very convenient. Food was priced well.

Pros: Labeled vegan, Not overly priced

Cons: Service

They seem to have removed the vegan symbols from their menu ☹️

Aw. That makes me sad. I just googled the menu and it's not the one I remember. The one I saw is pictured on HappyCow with icons representing vegan choices. This is so inconvenient. I'm sorry for your experience.

Good food but..

The food is good and there’s a lot of variety but I’m not sure about vegan options. I just find the place tends to be dirty

Masala Heaven

We ate here twice in 2017 and will go back when in Austin again. We had samosas, Chana masala and mushroom masala, all of which were so good that we went back for more within a couple days. The waiter was friendly, kind, helpful and patient with all of our questions. The place is clean. Good vibes all around.

Pros: No meat served here, Friendly waiters , Clean place, not too expensive

Good food and atmosphere, though they need to fix their menus

First thing off the bat, this place labels items as vegan but I've had to get them to correct a few of them. With a menu so large, it's understandable that mistakes can be made, but I cannot give 5 stars to a place that put cheese in a dish labeled as vegan.

The food is good though, definitely get the Mysore masala dosa, hands-down the best dosa in Austin.

Pros: Great dosa, Good seasonings, Reasonable prices

Cons: Mislabeled vegan options

Decent food, terrible service

Went in for lunch. There’s a lack of authentic Indian and Asian eateries in Cedar Park and even fewer veggie places that aren’t just an over priced salad. Was happy to find this place and really excited to see a great menu and positive reviews. The food was great and I will be back to try more dishes. But the customer service was awful. I was ignored from the moment I walked in the door. They were a little busy, but there were plenty of open tables. The hostess saw me when I came in but ignored me and turned her back to me then went into the kitchen for a full 5 minutes. Another diner finally caught her attention and pointed me out. Then she just told me to follow a guy carrying water. That guy didn’t know I was behind him and was very confused when I asked him where to sit. He wasn’t my waiter but got me some of the water and found me a menu. Another guy took my order almost 20 minutes later when I started to get up to leave. I had to repeatedly ask for utensils and was ignored multiple times when I asked for more water. I was never given a ticket to check out so I finally went to the counter where the hostess took my payment. Despite the good food I had a bad experience.

Pros: Lots of vegan and vegetarian options, Good food with lots of options, Reasonably priced

Cons: Terrible customer service, Terrible customer service, Terrible customer service

Almost perfect

My only issue was difficulty communicating with the staff. In the end it all worked out, but can't give 5 stars.

Food was fantastic, great value, service was quick, restaurant was clean, menu was big, menu was clearly marked for vegan items, and there were many vegan items.

vegan dishes clearly marked

My husband had vegetable curry and I had mushroom masala. We also had a Samosa. There were many Indian patrons. That's always a good indication of a good ethnic restaurant.

Pros: options clearly marked

Cons: incense burning made breathing challenging

We loved it

A great find in Austin. We ate lunch here in January 2016 and found it to be delicious, filling and not expensive. Very clean, good service and a great menu which says which dishes are vegan. It was full of Indians which was a good sign. Highly recommended, the only drawback is that it is a ways out of town.

Pros: Vegan choices, Delicious, Inexpensive

Cons: out in suburbia

Average Fair and Expensive

Being a South Indian and recently lived in Bangalore City , mecca of great South Indian food, I found this place barely palatable. South Indian cooking is tricky at best and requires greater precision when preparing items like - Idly (Rice/lentil steam buns), Vada (Lentil fried donuts), Dosa (lentil crepes), and Chutney (Dips made out of coconut, or tomatoes, or onions).

Unfortunately this restaurant does not present the south indian items that is pleasing to the tongue. Where every other street vendor in Bangalore or South India or Singapore or San Jose/Santa Clara (SF Bay Area) can prepare these items effortlessly with great variation.

I visited this place twice and both times the results are the same.

Skip this place.

Pros: Good location

Cons: Pricey, Oily , Below Par
