Excellent lunch spot - Edit
Really good vegetarian cafe in central Newcastle. Visited three times this week and really impressed with the quality of the food (and afternoon tea and cake!). A lot of the meals are really obvious lunch things - jacket potato, soup, toasted sandwiches. Its quite nice sometimes to have familiar food done well and done vegan. Sharing platters give a chance to try several different things. Also the most convincing vegan cheese I've had - in a toasted cheddar sandwich and in the Lasagna. Only 2 min from the central train station if you want to take some cake home with you! Food is served until 4.30 but you can go in after for tea and cake (till 6pm).

Wonderful place, very large inside and great chilled vibe. It is pretty much fully vegan except for a bit of milk and cheese if you want it. We had the all day breakfasts, they were delicious and the fully vegan cake selection is massive.

Called in to Super Natural for Sunday lunch. Great to see the place so busy. The new Jackfruit pizza was really nice, as was the spiced butternut soup. Love this place.

Honest delightful meal - Edit
Came with family for lunch - all of us (including omnis) very satisfied. Homely, tasty food. I had a pizza (slightly over baked but good flavourful crust and sauce, and a good amount of toppings); it was extremely busy over lunchtime so I would recommend coming slightly early or late for faster service. Really recommend the iced coffee, but my partner swears that the Berry milkshake was the highlight!

Wonderful range of food - Edit
Popped in for lunch. It’s so wonderful to have a whole menu of delicious sounding vegetarian and vegan dishes. We had the sharing platter which was only £9.99 but had more food than we could eat. It was a mixture of bread and dips, olives and roasted peppers, salad, bhajis and samosas, all of which were delicious.
Read moreSo many other things on the menu sounded tempting too and the selection of cakes for dessert looked amazing though we were too full to try.
Friendly staff and prompt service too. Would definitely come again.

Busy café, something for everyone - Edit
Busy place which has changed format/lovation a bit over the years, it has been a while since we last ate here. Good selection of vegan food / cakes well labelled. We had soup and sandwich deal which was good value. Generous slices of bread. One of us thought they could be enhanced by slightly toasting the bread, the other thought by the addition of black pepper! Good portion size, tasty lentil soup. We also took 2 vegan cheese scones home for later. Warm café on a cold winter day. Menu also has vegan alcohol. Lovely “cleanse” tea which I would get again!

Super Menu - Edit
Relaxing venue next to central station with good selection of vegan choices. Starters, mains, lots of cakes (which they are well known for) plus teas, wines and much more. Friendly service. This place gets busy you have been warned so booking essential if you are a group.

Food wasn’t great. Tasted like yesterday’s leftovers. Really cheap ingredients. Music was too loud and food over-priced. Won’t be going again.

Great cafe - Edit
Love to come here for coffee and cake. Very nice that they provide alcoholic beverages that are guaranteed vegan, most places don't offer that. I miss some of the items from the old menu (fallafel and salsa sandwiches!) but the food is still great and the staff are always friendly.

Nice vibes - Edit
The food was great, the interior was decorated really well and the staff were great. There were pages of vegan options which make a change to normal restaurants and the cakes were also mostly vegan. Close to the station and the centre so easily accessible

I ain't afraid of no oats - Edit
Supernatural has always been a popular attraction amongst vegans and veggies even before it moved to a more central spot in town. Personally, I preferred the former premises but can understand the move. I also miss the salad bar, nevermind. On offer they have a large menu to satisfy all tastes and so far I have sampled the Thai and daal curries, which were ok but lacking a bit in spice. The burgers and sandwiches are still very tasty though, especially the chicken tikka and oyster mushroom options, which come with salad, slaw and crisps. Those who have a sweet tooth will also love the great selection of desserts and cakes. Staff are very friendly too. Definitely a place to visit when in toon.

Lovely food - Edit
I went here last eek with a friend, we both ordered the vegan burgers and they were delicious. I had normal fries, which came with a sprinkling of rosemary, and they were really nice. My friend ordered the rainbow fries and she loved them. The buns in which the burgers were served was clearly freshly made and of a high quality, but a little too thick, which made the burger a little overfilling and dry.

Ice will melt, water will boil - Edit
It's Super Natural that I should want to be there with you. Great city centre location right next to one of the biggest guitar shops in England. It's certainly a Crowded House in here on a weekend where you can get a fairly decent meat free meal and vegan cake. The staff are functional, the clientele display a level of awareness and the food is hovering around OK. Plenty of vegan choice, unlimited salads, mountains of vegan cakes, typically British decor. Don't expect gourmet, just a reasonably priced meat free offering of sit in or take away meals. It's popular and friendly. Perfectly positioned in a more prominent location for locals, visitors and veggie curious passers by. Live long and prosper. There's something here for everyone. What you see is what you get.

Sat in this place for a good few hours because it has such a calm and happy atmosphere. The food was amazing, including the great range of vegan cakes they had to offer. Seemed like good value for money too because of the portion sizes. Don't really have anything to complain about.
