Lovely food, charming chef.

Pies in the winter, tapas in the summer - the meatballs tapas are really yummy.

Vegan pie and mash

Had the pie and mash which was amazing! They had 3 different vegan pies to choose from, which change each time. It was £10 for a meal.

Pop Up Pie night

I can recommend trying out Super-Doux pop-ups!
Pie night at the Admiral is great - a choice of pies, veg and sauces, all vegan!
We tried the mushroom with red wine pie and a curried parsnip pie, with perfect mash, roast veg, minty peas and yummy gravy (or chutney if you prefer).
You get your own pie dish full of filling with a flaky pastry top, a generous serving of mash, veg etc.
Not sure what full cost will be, opening nights were £6 each - bargain!
The Admiral is a nice local pub too - good music, several vegan beers, etc
