Serves meat, vegan options available. Restaurant with a Mexican inspired menu, consisting of traditional dishes. Vegan choices include chips and salsa or corn roasted guacamole, two vegan street taco choices - one with grilled sweet potato, carrots, poblano peppers and and corn purée and the second consists of roasted beets, avocado habanero purée and and chickpeas. In addition to the tacos you can also make the vegetable burrito vegan when omitting cheese. Good enough

I didn’t love it by any means, but I appreciated the fact that there were actual vegan tacos. Most taco places have no options - just chips and guac. They had 2 types of vegan tacos - one with sweet potatoes and one with beets and chickpeas. The rice and black beans are vegan, too. It wasn’t the best either. The rice was undercooked. Non veg weren’t a huge fan either.

Good Views + Atmosphere

Was also considering titling the review "Not Awful" lol. So this restaurant is in fancy pants Snowshoe Village. Park in the huge main lot across the street and it's right there pretty much in the center of the village. Great views of the ski hill (you're at the top here) and friendly staff. I was glad they had two vegan tacos on the menu and my waitress was educated on everything vegan. The only bummer and thus the low star rating is the vegan tacos were just meh. They were totally picture-worthy, plated beautifully but the flavor just wasn't there. That said, i had some other items that were delicious namely the black beans which had great flavor, the rice and guacamole. I'd come back but next time i'd just order tortillas and sides of rice, beans, guac etc and make my own. Great drink menu.

Note: this isn't an independent restaurant or a mom and pop. It's owned and operated by the Snowshoe conglomerate. I recommend Foxfire which is independently and locally owned.
