Essen so lala, extrem unfreundlich - Edit
Das Essen klingt in der Karte super lecker, leider ist es aber sehr lieblos und fade. Der Service ist unterirdisch!

i had the burrito, it was good enough but nothing special / more like a snack than a full meal. the detox smoothie however was really tasty. central location, but gets quite crowded too.

Nice food and relaxed vibe - Edit
I had the acai bowl with added peanut butter. This was a great portion for breakfast or lunch with some nice fruits and granola. The cafe has a nice and chill vibe and there are several vegan and veggie options.

Delicious açaí bowl - Edit
I ordered the açaí bowl with extra peanut butter and it was delicious, totally recommend. The bowl is 8€ and with peanut butter it’s 8,60€ which is a fair price for an açaí bowl based on what I’ve seen.

Good food, understaffed employees - Edit
There are a few vegan and vegetarian options. The food was delicious and the restaurant had a nice and chill vibe. The reason why we deducted one star: there was just one waitress for a lot of people and she was simply overtrained and super stressed (but friendly). She rarely passed our table and we had to actively approach her so she would come to us. Our food came after one hour and we asked three times for still water but didn't get it until the very end.
Read moreFurthermore we orderd a sandwich and asked to switch the cheese with hummus, which was, acoording to the waitress not possible. Seems very unflexible to us.

Not super vegan friendly, a couple options - Edit
We weren't overly impressed with the cafe. I ordered the bagel with hummus and it came with some arugula and mushrooms. It was fine. The juices were nice and fresh. Ice coffee was not great though. Overall there aren't many vegan options, but it's an okay spot to stop in to if you're in a pinch.

Not too impressed, barely any vegan options - Edit
Wasn’t what I expected to be honest. I had the quinoa salad and the portion was not a lot as well as the ingredients strange. Mushrooms with apple? A bit strange. And €10,- for a salad like that is too much imo
Read morePros: Nice relaxed atmosphere
Cons: Not a lot of vegan options, Strange food combinations ie mushrooms & apple?, Expensive for the portions you get, left hungry

It's OK - Edit
Central place in Ericeira with vegan options on request. None are really available on the menu but the staff can change to make something work.
Read moreDespite that the food is OK. The toast I had the bread was a bit dry and the filling on the bits was a bit low. I guess that not have butter on the bread and cheese inside was the origin for this.
The juices are very good and the coffee has a OK but no real distinct flavor.
The staff was very helpful and friendly despite they were full.
Outside seating is available but the are on a busy street so not really a quiet place.
Overall it is and option if you need something quick but no great choices.
Pros: Outside seating, Friendly staff
Cons: Price / Quality

Had a nice veggie burrito for lunch (order it without cheese and it’s vegan) a tasty banana oat-milkshake. They have plenty of veggie options on the menu which can be turned vegan. Really cosy place!

Worth a visit - Edit
Set in a side street in a lovely square you will find this little retreat it has a couple of vegan options if you modify the veggie versions. I had the burrito which was delicious, however I would say they need to dress up the dishes a little the burrito came with just plain tortilla chips and could of done with some salsa n a spot of salad which would of made it much better. However that aside a lovely place will definitely be back

Tasty Breakfast - Edit
This place has a lot of vegan options on the menu, as well as non-dairy milk. The atmosphere is cosy and you feel immediately home. I tried a smoothie-bowl (*yummi*) and my girlfriend had pancakes. We really enjoyed that place. Unfortunately the price was a bit high for the size of the portions.

The Surfers Bar - Edit
Very Fresh and chilled atmosphere. Loved all the interior decor which really fit Ericeira's lifestyle: Surf, eat, drink and meet new people!
Read moreSangria and food was pleasurable but not enough for a dinner after surfing, I would consider it more like a place where having snacks, lunch/brunch. Vegan options are only few and not the most delicious one! Worth trying the smoothies or cocktails rather than food.
Great value for money, especially during the Happy Hour!

Best choice in the World Surf Reserve! - Edit
Very vegan friendly place, fantastic acai bowl with cereals and fruits, fresh juices, tasty guacamole! I appreciate the very friendly atmosphere, Sunset Bamboo is a comfortable place to sit, rest and read. Every dish can be prepared in a vegan version. The coffee is an arabica, you can have it with soy or rice milk. Go and try, i love it!

Best place for vegans (and non vegans) in town :) - Edit
I've come here for years and it was about time that this place appears on Happy Cow! This cool surfer-style café serves a lot of vegan and gluten free options, sandwiches with avocado and vegetables, smoothie bowls, great salads! The nice owners will also change their non-vegan menu items according to your wishes to make them vegan. I just love this place and can only recommend to come and chill!
