A eatery at a health food store with great vegan options from 9:00 to 5:00 - Edit
Great visit to Sunfrost Farms. I had a great recommendation to try this place from a longtime resident of the Near (to the mid-Hudson Valley) Catskills. I enjoyed both the Vegan Wrap and a Sandìa fruit drink. I had seen both of these vegan options on the restaurant’s online lunch-ordering site and was half expecting to be told it was too early to order them. (I got there shortly after 9 a.m. for breakfast.) The wrap featured sprouts, slivered carrots, lettuce or greens, tomato, avocado, cucumber, and tahini. The helpful and efficient person at the counter made the Sandìa (Spanish for watermelon) by putting watermelon and a small amount of lime or lime juice into a blender. Both items were delicious and appeared to be made with freshly processed-chopped ingredients. A grocery store that is abundant with fruit and veggies and a juice bar–breakfast & lunch spot have great synergies. Other vegan items at Sunfrost Farms include many juices that can be made to order, vegan fake meat and nut milk, the Three-Bean Vegan Chili Soup (in two sizes), and the Garden Salad (in two sizes). Both indoor and outdoor tables plus stools at the counter were open. Before tax and tip, the wrap cost $9.50 and the watermelon-lime shake was $5.95.

So as a restaurant of any kind, closing time in listing (6 pm every day) is not accurate. Truly a breakfast and lunch place indeed. A plan for a salad course before dinner at another restaurant did not pan out! Oh well.

VERY vegan friendly! Almost everything can be veganized. They offer vegan cheese and sour cream, so that's a plus. The veggie burger is amazing and it is Locally made. Sunfrost has the biggest, best burritos and their veggie enchiladas are killer! Smoothies and juices are always fresh. If you are looking for breAkfast definitely try the tofu scramble with black beans! You can even have the tofu scramble in a breakfast burrito. Amazing staff.. This place rocks!

Former roadside produce stand has consistently good looking veggies and fruit. This place is just outside of Woodstock in Bearsville on Rt.212.
