So many options and delish - Edit
We had a hard time ordering with all of the options. Loved the sushi and Hong Kong tofu the best! We will definitely be back to try other menu items.

Casual friendly Asian vegan - Edit
So glad to have sit-down service for delicious Asian vegan where they do a LOT of takeout -- how funny that they are right beside a McDonald's. We were on the road and called to pre-order so we could dine-in, and they had our food on the table when we arrived, so nice and saved us a lot of time. I was grateful to the ample parking lot and loved all the cute sunflower paintings. Super nice staff. I wish I could eat here all the time. We got miso soup, edamame, Songbird (sautéed chunks of wheat gluten, veggie-chicken, shirataki, & celery in a hot kung-pao flavored sauce with peanuts & bok choy), and a grilled vegetable salad, could not eat it all. There is so much to try on this menu. I would eat my way through the whole thing if I could.

For someone new to the plant-based diet, this place was a real find. I'm still in the "does it taste like real - fill in the blank". It tastes great and the staff is completely familiar with the menu. I took my daughter and she's now buying meat substitutes.

spicy - Edit
Staff helpful when ordering over the phone for pick up. Ordered the miso soup and a couple of entrees. A bit spicy but very good. Brown rice as an option, yay. Glad to have picked this restaurant. They had a variety to choose from.

Wonderful Vegan Food - Edit
Such a fantastic experience eating here. Just about everything is vegan on the menu. The Orion Ruby is my favorite, and my spouse loves the sushi. We make the 45 minute trip to come here about once a month. I wish I had pictures but I dive in so quickly I forget.

Pretty Good! - Edit
Look, you will most certainly find something you love here. But if I am being honest, this feels like the kind of place that would benefit from paring down its menu a little bit and really focusing on making a handful of dishes stellar. (Which is to say it might take a couple tries before you find something you LOVE.)

We've been limited to take-out for the last 2 years, but now the dining room is open again and newly remodeled. There are a few new items on the menu that are not available for online ordering (yet).
Read moreEverything is good. The General Tso is a perennial favorite. The Thai Tum Yum noodle soup is awesome if you like spicy flavors. The Tempura Sweet Potato Sushi is a delicious new menu item, and there are several more new sushi options we can't wait to try.

LOVE - Edit
Vegan Asian cuisine is one thing I miss the most, as it never seems to be accessible where I live. I loved the variety of their menu and was so excited to try a few items with my mom (who is not vegan). We shared the sweet and sour chicken vegetable fried rice, dumplings, wonton soup, and hot and sour soup. The portion size was great for the price, and we loved every item! The sweet and sour chicken and veggie fried rice were our favorites. I wish we didn’t live so far, otherwise I would order from Sunflower every week. #Veganuary

Underwhelmed! - Edit
My family all got Sunflower together and honestly didn't love our food. To be fair we got takeout so maybe the dine-in experience is better. My dish was basically just sauce on fake meat, with few vegetables or other interesting ingredients. The sandwich's bread was stale, the fries weren't great, etc. I hope it was just a bad day for Sunflower, their menu looked really interesting!

Wow! So vegan friendly and delicious! - Edit
I went today for a late lunch. I shared the dumplings and the shrimp garden sizzling rice! The pan fried dumplings were so fresh, doughy and tasty! And the rice dish used vegan shrimp which is made using a Japanese vegetable. It’s chewy in texture, and looks like jumbo shrimp. It tastes like it too (but not so much so that you question if it’s really shrimp).
Read moreWe asked about their desserts and they get desserts from “Vegan Treats”, a bakery in PA. They had a chocolate mousse cake, cannoli, and strawberry cheesecake on the day we visited, but the menu rotates. We shared the cake and the cannoli and they were delicious! Sunflower is our favorite place to eat and to invite non-vegan friends. We moved 40 miles away and we still keep going back. Our former neighbors moved to Georgia over ten years ago, and Sunflower was where they wanted to go when they came back for a visit.
