Favorite movie theater in the country. - Edit
Sun-Ray is the theater of my dreams. With a well curated selection of indie and foreign films, a cool atmosphere equipped with a Twin Peaks Black Lodge by the bathrooms, and really cool and friendly staff, you’d think it’d be too much to ask to also have an extensive vegan menu of some of the best theater meals imaginable, but they really do have it all.

Sun-Ray CInema is such a fun place! It's a movie theater where you can order food and they bring it to your seat. They have SO many vegan options. I've been twice so far and have tried the vegan nachos and chili cheese fries. Both were amazing! Another great thing about Sun-Ray is that it's very affordable. I highly recommend!

Sun-Ray Cinema is an amazing old school style theatre where you can order food while you watch your movie! They literally bring the food to you, it's pretty great. The food was really good and even had vegan options.

If I'm ever in the Jacksonville area again, I'd love to go back. It's an experience and super cool. They also show local films too on certain nights of the week which I love because supporting your local artists is rad.

We sampled the veggie dog and chips/queso, both were awesome but would've preferred the queso in a cup as opposed to being poured all over. The queso is a special recipe and not a processed product so that's definitely a plus. I tried to order vegan yummy bears and the girl had no idea what I was talking about -- however they did have a few vegan options. The historic theatre appears to be in great condition, considering it was built in 1927; it provides a spacious* and comfortable viewing experience.

Movie magic old time style - Edit
I love old things and this theater is very old. One of the oldest theaters in the nation. It has one screen and u can order food fresh out of the kitchen to be brought to you in the theater. I got the vegan pizza which was AMAZING! My bf doesn't like olives otherwise he would've liked it too. The pizza had hummus and no cheese so it was different but delicious. They also have vegan candy from sweet Pete's u can snack on while enjoying the show.
