Nice small dinner - Edit
Looked for a small dinner near Sheraton Hsinchu and found this nice place. Several dishes labeled completely vegetarian, which translates as vegan (compared to vegetarian).
Read moreHad the hash brown burger, some fries and a big mug of delicious black tea. Exactly what I needed after 22h of traveling. Cost for the whole menu was 200NTD

Fancy pasta and rice dishes - Edit
Just one block from Sheraton Hsinchu, this is a convenient option for visiting vegans and vegetarians. There is no English menu, but vegan options are clearly indicated in Chinese. I got the “Vietnamese spicy braised rice with meat sauce” and my friend got the “pasta with pine nut pesto sauce” (both names straight from Google translate). The pasta was perfectly cooked and both dishes were tasty. Service was a little slow, especially given the place was not too busy as it was after 14:00 when we visited. I was excited to get the oat milk black tea as plant-based milk teas are still hard to find.
