Great value good food

Very good value. I paid $3.50 for a plate of food that was very tasty and vegan. If you're vegan in Singapore you should definitely visit

Pros: Super cheap, Vegan

Cheap and great flavours

I've eaten at a few of the veg hawker stalls, but this one I like the most. There's a great selection of dishes and the flavors are on point. So cheap with a meal averaging between $3-4. They give out a free bowl of soup too which the other stalls don't do.

Good flavour, good value

This a a vegetarian staple in the area with lines of customers every meal time. Serves a choice of brown or white rice or noodles with three choices of dishes for an amazing $3.80 including a clear broth. The tofus are all tasty, the one with sweet and sour sauce is crispy outside and silky inside, especially good is the sliced marinated soy protein. The pumpkin dish is also delicious.

Pros: Huge range, excellent value , Great flavour

Cons: Would assume all is vegan but not clarified

Laksa

Economy rice stall which also offers local delicacies - laksa, fried rice, hor fun. Value for money, and wide selection of dishes. Limited seatings during lunch hour.

Good Cheap Chinese Food

I come here about once a month or so. I've eaten through most of the soups and all of the dishes. So a few tips. The satay peanut sauce is heavy on the corn starch. The soups are typically on the bland side and the laksa is thin. Everything else is good. I like the black pepper sauce and the things that have chili in them. If you like bitter gourd, it's decent here.

Pros: Consistent, Cheap, Easy to get to.

Cons: Nothing is mind blowing, Seating is limited at lunchtime.

Avoid if you are vegan.

Went there yesterday hoping in getting some good vegan food. A couple run the place. I asked the lady which foods are vegan but she kindly said "no english" i went to the guy who had a bit better english but he couldn't tell the difference between vegetarian and vegan. He said all food is vegetarian no vegan. Althoguh rice was obivously vegan. Because of their lack of knowledge of what vegan is we ended up leaving that place withouth eating anything there and went to Vegan Bowl instead which had amazing vegan food. If you are vegan avoid SuManYuan at People's park.

Economical Rice stall setting but they served good variety of well-cooked dishes. Price reasonable.

ok food, good price

We had Laksa and brown rice with veggies and mock meat. The food was ok, but didn't impress me. Good value for money. The owner is cool guy, very convincing to buy there😉

great stuff

Second visit to this hawker centre and second restaurant.
Equally as good as the first. I have to mention you are not getting high end food but good value working class grub.
Aimed at local people with plenty of choice and fantastic value.
We had 3 mixed plated and it cost SGD 10 for everyone.
A great way to try lots of dishes.

Local place, great selection

Found the food stall with the help of the picture here. Great selection of mock meat and tofu. Be sure to know what you want, staff doesn’t speak English. Tasty but could be less rice and more veggies. Place is in a food court, so there is no natural light and it’s crowded. Over all a great experience. Very reasonable prices.

Pros: Lots of vegan / vegetarian Options, Fast and economic, Tasty

Cons: Could be less rice but more veggies, Not really fresh / green veggies

One of the best economy rice stalls

My favourite and probably one of the best veg economy rice stalls in Singapore for their wide selection of tasty tofu and mock meat dishes! Slightly pricier than most other places but still much cheaper than restaurants. There is always a large queue at the place and you can tell people are willing to put up with the higher cost.

good if you are in the area

Went there around 7:30pm on a weekday and the place was totally crowded. Had some rice with three veggies from the buffet. Price was 3,20 (I think the brown rice is 0,30 more, with white rice it is 2,90). There was a small vegetable soup included. It's a food court so you might have to share a table with other people which may also consume meat. Every food stall has it's own plates and cutlery (they all have different colours). They also have ala carte dishes, which are between 4,50 and 8 sgd. Owner seemed a bit stressed but was nice.

Pros: cheap, buffet and ala carte

Cons: crowded, foodstall atmosphere
