Highly recommended! - Edit
This was pretty good! As a coeliac and vegan, it was bliss to find a 100% gluten free bakery that also offers a great deal of vegan options. It was hard to choose as everything looked appetising, but I went for the chocolate brownie chunk in the end, which was very sticky and luxurious. Paired really well with my soya latte.
Read moreI also bought a couple of cheesy tikka scones for my flight later on that day. Great to see even the savoury offerings had a vegan option. It was a bit dry, but I’m sure it would have been great if heated in a microwave prior.
All in all, if I ever visit Edinburgh again, I hope to visit this place quite a few times. Could do with some sitting area, but highly recommended nonetheless. And although I didn’t manage to see it, they have a dog! 5 stars if it went fully vegan too!

Many choices for vegans - Edit
All their baked goods are gluten free, not everything was vegan but there were many labelled vegan options for when I went. Personally, I feel that the treats were a bit too sweet for the ones with the cream. Anyway, overall, still a good place for vegan bakery.

Often gluten free and vegan food really fails when it comes to texture, but Sugar Daddy's gets it pretty spot on. Their bread and cakes are really tasty and you don't feel like you're missing out.

Good cakes but very sugary - Edit
The cakes here are good, the coffee cheap and the atmosphere is nice as well. Cakes are very sugary though and the salt on top of the salted caramel brownie was a bit too much for my taste.
