My favorite local Asian restaurant

Whenever I go to Sugarcane I’m always warmly welcomed by the owner and staff. When I go with friends I usually order the vermicelli bowl with grilled vegetables and eat the whole thing by myself. It is so good. However this time I went with my husband and daughter and they wanted to share everything so we ordered a bunch of the vegan items. We started with the fresh vegetarian roll which was served with a generous portion of peanut sauce. For dinner we ordered 4 dishes: vegetable pad Thai hold the egg, mixed Chinese vegetables, the Szechuan spicy fried tofu (we asked if they could swap out for steamed tofu and that was no a problem thanks to the server and the chef!) and of course the vermicelli bowl with added grilled vegetables. Everything came out quickly and hot and delicious. I can’t say enough good things about the vegan options at Sugarcane!!
